Wasn't satisfied enough with the first start lol
2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback SE 2.0L Manual Transmission

Custom straight pipe exhaust with MagnaFlow Y-Pipe & dual exit quad tip exhaust
I came here expecting the worst but damn it actually sounds pretty good
I appreciate that bro ✌
Its a toyota not a honda fartcan
Yea for real
no it don't
I thought it was going to sound crap but it sounds lush!!
This actually sounds good I wasn't expecting that at all
Toyotas just sound good for no reason
@@AdigaNart1 Oh fr
Good? 😂😂😂
been there done that, the drone in the highway is atrocious
LEX?
I’ve seen a few of these on the road to where people actually made them look clean. These actually look decent and I wouldn’t be surprised if companies start making parts for them. Like turbo’s and stuff like that. Actually sounds decent too with your setup. Nice video bro.
we getting a turbo corolla soon but its a different engine
@@xxshad0wxxsn3ak25 see they will probably go like a 1.5 or 1.6 turbo engine which is cool but that won’t be a good platform. It’ll be limited to how much power it can make on stock block and internals like the 10th gen civic. They should just use this engine and either tune it to make more power to add a turbo to this 2.0 liter engine and make it have serious power.
@@ZFA1738 it’s already confirmed it’s a 3 cylinder 1.6 from the gr yaris
They'll be using a 1.6l turbo 3 cylinder with a 6mt awd system in the gr corolla, same as the yaris. The engine that's currently on the corollas are 1.8 and 2.0 NA. The 2.0 in the hatchbacks has either 13:1 or 14:1 depending on what model. These would be relatively impractical for boost. Something would have to be done to change to CR. Piston swap, cam tune, etc to allow big boost numbers. Though who knows, maybe all we need to do is play with the vvt and shorten up the intake cam timing 🤔
@@jaredmichaelmaule from what I’ve seen the gr Corolla won’t have an awd system but I haven’t kept up with it recently and only when it was first announced
Sounds a bit like a Subaru with equal lenght headers to me. Very nice sound!
imo sounds like a subaru mixed with a civic
Sounds a little bit like a Mazdaspeed
@@grahams5146 Accurate. Resonators will do that...
i’ve got a 21 wrx with a muffler delete, and i thought the exact same thing lol. it’s about 70% there.
these cars look so great!!!! just dirt slow.... cant wait for the GR version of this to come out AWD, TURBO and 6MT is gonna be a bombshell
Im from Spain (fkng european union) and im jelous rn
@@misteral365 dont you guys get the GR yaris?
@@GR_FOURRARIS yes we do
@@GR_FOURRARIS but not the mazda 3 turbo, or mazda cx5 turbo, this particular Corolla... Things like that are bullshit, just because of the contamination laws.
@@misteral365 Trust me no one knows more about BS emissions laws... I live in COMIFORNIA if i get my hood popped im fucked with all my illegal mods i got
Saw one of these today with a similar exhaust setup. I gotta say, Toyota made a damn good vehicle with this thing.
Thank you so much for letting the engine warm up before you rev!
Hate to break it to you but that was not warm. He let the idle drop but the block was still cold and the oil was most certainly not at the proper temp.
It was a one time thing for "research" lol I've never done it since
@@jaredmichaelmaule haha no I completely get it. I can’t say I haven’t done the same thing when people ask to hear my car.
@Andrew H you're obviously aren't a car guy since you think that was warm😐
Ok For starters it’s not your car so why do you care? Also if you’ve done this and it hurt one of your cars, it was probably built like a piece of shit . 2000 RPM is hardly revving the engine lmao. Sorry to be an asshole man but I am tired of seeing that dumb fucking asinine comment on every fucking car video I see. Get educated.
Never expected a corolla to sound this good...
Sounds very good and very like a mild tuned 4 without the raspy sound nice.
*_That exhaust setup is sick!_*
nothing brings me joy like a bangin' toyota rev limiter
This sounds amazing bro. Coming from a 5.0 GT owner. This is real nice!
These cars have one of the best sounding four cylinders hands down
it actually sounds awesome, i had pretty low expectations
these new 2 liters toyota engines sound nice!
13:1 Compression!!!
@@jamesj.litteriojr.433 so same compression as a nascar? seems fishy...
@@seeap16 I know right? We're talking Diesel numbers. But I checked out the full information on this new Toyota 2.0 Dynamic Force Engine and it's all legit. Wikipedia explains more of it and there is a CZcamsr that goes over the whole car including the engine which has Electronic Power Steering and an Electric Water Pump. The video is something like 30 minutes long but worth watching...gives a very detailed explanation of the car. Wikipedia has never steered me wrong when it comes to clarifying things and there is also other literature and information on different websites. And Toyota says it uses 87 octane. F&*k that!!! Shell 93 V-Power Nitro+ all the way...which has no ethanol at all in that grade but has a ton of Nitrogen to keep the Government happy! Excellent cleaner!!! My tailpipe can attest to that and I'm not running rich or burning oil and still have both of my cats on a 2013 Scion TC with minor mods. And then you have the 0W16 Full Synthetic Toyota Motor Oil which I wouldn't trust even if I leased it for 3 years! Then again I could always bring it to my friend I've known since 6 years old who works for Toyota because Toyota's service F&*KING SUCKS!!!!! But him I trust!!! There is a guy on here who has a White Hatchback 6 Speed Manual with a custom intake and exhaust and is keeping up with a Tuned WRX from a roll. I can also attest to these Toyota engines making great power with minor mods and surprising the competition as my car has done numerous times. And I have an automatic. Hope this helps in any way and sorry for such a long post. I got carried away!!! :)
@@jamesj.litteriojr.433 excellent break down!!!
@@seeap16 You are more than welcome brother!!! Since I have OCD I always make sure I get all the facts and do plenty of research everyday on everything I learn about! It just happens to come in handy sometimes! Glad I could help! Oh and the guys CZcams channel is A_M20A_19 TRD Power.
Ready for that blistering 16 second 1/4 mile blast
XD
Ahhh your a bus ticket guy huh
@@unknown94344 haha I don't know what you mean. Just joking about how loud this car is for how slow it is.
No one said you couldn't sound good going slow
Yeah and probably handling better at corners that a 500hp+ boat
Great sound out of this. Cant wait for the GR version gonna be sick!
I just got one and was thinking if anyone has added any new exhaust. You’re the first I’ve seen and it’s awesome!!! Definitely want that added to mine
As a 86 owner I fully love and appreciate this sound😍
Was not expecting that!! This sounds good👍🏼!
my neighbor has one of these and he did the same and this thing sounds so good ripping around the block
Wow that's actually really nice. Probably the 100th comment to say that but well done man. Very clean.
Wow!! Sounds absolutely awesome brother!!
Those bubbly idle sounds satisfying
That sounded pretty good I was no expecting that
As a corvette owner, I always liked how this refresh looked as the XSE, even the se is good. Drove it for work once for about an hour and wow its a great car. Kinda wanna get one 😅
Sounds amazing people can laugh at a Corolla and say they are slow cars I don't care u can put alot into them they are long lasting cars that's for sure.
jacob stefo not so slow, there’s a lot of cars slower than Corolla like Prius
exactly, i think the 2.0 liter engine in these new ones make north of 180HP it doesnt feel slow at all as long as you keep it in the 5-6K rev range
my 02 civic si hatch (ep3) only had 160hp and was a zippy little thang even before just a few bolt ons. obvious not super fast but pretty fun to drive
I got my Corolla hatchback last year I’ve should of waited until next year to buy one I heard Toyota and Mazda are working together on the next corolla hatchback it’s going to be even faster with 267 hp the sales guy at the dealer told me the other day
@@KnownAsBilal toyota says 168-173 for most coming out of factory. Stock that is
Sounds unreasonably good
Nice video bro very unique and clean car to straight pipe you gained a subscriber
The GR Carolla is going to change the game
Ah the years pass and im still reminded how i never doubted the rolla 😌
Better than expected.
This is y ima car enthusiasts lol. Good job
Sounded like you were holding the rev after it was nearly finished revving xD
Finally, Toyota is building cars
Dang only 36 subs?.? U deserve at least 1k bro
Nah 106
I thought this was going to sound like ass but it sounds surprisingly really good!
clean as hell bro
Clicked because Delaware, stayed because it sounds surprisingly great! 👍👍👍
I cant wait to see what they do with the GR Corolla
That sound almost at the End Noicee 👌.
corollas are fire i kinda wish i got a hatch now
Car looks so nice without the stock diffuser
Sounded surprisingly good! Was no need for that rev on 2nd start though especially when cold, but again the car has a nice burble to it.
Toyota making decent sounding cars?? What a miracle
I thought it was going to sound crap but it sounds lush!!
Sounds really good 👍
Sounds fantastic!
Corolla hatch is on my wish list
Sounds WAY better than my civic type r
Sounds like a rally car! Very nice sound
Honestly that sounds sick, rally car vibes
Sounds soo good
Damn that sounded better than any a45 or gti I’ve ever heard. Prop’s to you
Cuz those sound like shit, especially gti
@@Demofix33 GTI stock sounds pretty decent. But that god awfull loud raspy straigt pipe exhaust people use sound like shit
The 2016 a45 sound is bomb bruh
@@Coolkiddo777 💯 the old gen a45 takes the cake
That sounds amazing
Shout out from a fellow Delawarean
sounds like a 5th gen corolla you know the one. and much like the rest of us down here we can agree it doesn't sound as bad
This is fire!
toyota 4 cyl always sounded good to me... I currently have a 1995 toyota celica ST and the little 1.8L 4 banger it has sounds pretty good even with just a muffler delete
What a beautiful deep idling sound that is. All thanks to Toyota’s beautiful inline-4’s ans making them sounds beautiful. And indeed way better than Honda’s inline-4. That’s a fact.🔥🔥🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
If you squint, the image here looks like a supra
This sounds amazing
That thing is sick
That actually sounds nice
Very nice sounding 2 liter.
just got one today man, looking to do something similar to this!
sounds amazing
Bro, when you got out of the car, I thought someone had opened my family's HIghlander doors 😂
i just know that thing is fun as hell to drive
its a corolla...
I hope the aftermarket for these cars boom like it did for the brz
Oh it will. People already modding their E210's
It sounds like a sube 😱🔥🔥
That sounds soo goood
Ayo actually sounds hecticcc I have a Honda Fit straight piped too! Makes ppl laugh I love it 😂

Damn.. tat sound good 👍
He was giving that shit the beans
That is so cool!
Had this on my 2015 it was mint 👌 should update though
that sounds sick
These newer S Rolla Hatchbacks weight a good bit less then the older sedans and are actually quicker then you may think.
Nice sound
Needs some pops and bangs to be perfect! Nice sound!
Man do I love these corollas. Never seen anything on them on youtube until now, but I swear I've seen a widebody one irl. Ofc it was when I was driving I only got a glimpse but it was way wider than it should've been. I don't care if they're fast or not they're cool cars and Toyota cares about how their cars look. I want to own one.... one day
Oh trust me their fast
*in the corners
Lol
I got a 2009 Toyota Highlander v6 4wd limited, the thing is not slow I gap 4.6 MUSTANGS all day. And I do it while banging music with the jbl sound system that it has😎 270 hp 295 torque on a 4K pound car is decent. And the new ones have over 300 hp😳
@@alexvargasmorales712 my plan is once these corollas are less than 10k in price, or of i can find one with the front end totalled, I'm going to swap the camry's 2gr-fks with their 8 speed in to one. This is going to be further in to the future though, not any time soon
Clicked because of the Delaware plate sounds good :)
What diameter did you go with? Cutback or cat delete?
How did you modify your diffuser? What tools did you use?
I clicked on this thinking "This can't sound *that* good it's still a Corolla SE-- oh."
I clicked on this thinking I'd be hearing a ricer but damn these new Corollas have got some spice. That is a nice exhaust setup!
That word is so misused these days it has completely lost its meaning
@@HighTopMyers for real. *race inspired cosmetic enhancements*
Yeah, sorry I didn't mean to make you all mad. It's just whenever you see a car like this with an exhaust, which may I say is a race inspired cosmetic enhancement, you assume it to sound bad like a riced out car would, but this one sounds nice
Great Video!!! I just copped my one and uploaded it on my YT Channel
Thats sick👍
by straight pipe do you mean a muffler and res delete plus the y pipe or did you get rid of the cats as well?
Good exhaust konfiguration 4-1-2-4
Shit, danm this sounds amazing, pure JDM lol, man i dont know how leople dokt like thos new hot hatch and the new yaris they both look so danm good
Sounds great
Where did you get this work don in DE? I'm in philly and would like to get this done to my Rolla. Would like to come down and get it installed
It was either this or the Buick for me. I chose the Buick, $10,000 plus in unexpected repairs later I wish I bought this from the get go
this remindes me of the rally version
wow wow wow wow wooooooooooooooooww that pipe !!!
Sound very boxer 👍🏽
They don’t sound that bad, they look decent. Only dislike is power. I watched one get Dino in person and it was 129 hp even if it had like 250hp it would be better. Still a cool car though
