Unfortunately, some of the men are irresponsible, unreliable, not God fearing, not provided enough, don't pay for the medical and education for the children and wife and they feed out of their wife's wealth and in return treat them like door mats. May Allah ease all of our situation and guide us and keep us steadfast. Ameen.

I agree 90% of these guys can be spotted by a practicing wali. But many sisters don't involve the wali from day 1 so they flirt and text until they fall in love and can't accept a no after that.

After my first divorce as a woman in my late 20s my father forbid me to marry ever again and stay single for the rest of my life. “You never marry twice” he said.
Years passed and I got fed up because I’m getting old with no kids etc. . No one took care of me anyway. Not even financially so I had to work off my ass alone.
Told the entire problem to an Imam and he let me marry a man of my choice. I’m in a happy marriage now.
Father did still not approve. I don’t care anymore like he doesn’t care about me.
He is totally misguided in Islam anyway and is doing worse things.

What can a mother do when there is a divorce and the father is very far from the deen? The father just wants to go against his ex wife because it gives him power?
Call it narcissism or being plain stubborn. The daughter is getting older. The daughter has an older brother though who is married. Can he act as a wali?
The father also has not had much of a part in her upbringing. But there are uncles around? Can they act as wali?

islamically this is possible but this can't be decided by the daughter or mother. You can't just "switch" your wali to your liking. This needs serious consultation by reliable people. I would say the uncles and brothers need to sit together with the imam and work it out.

lol sheikh is right about Pakistan. Idk how my fellow Pakistanis consider the country to be safe when you got armed security guards outside every public building - airport, hospital, mall, office, school/ college, even some restaurants. Look at the level of security offered to foreign cricket teams when they come. This sort of security is not normal in the world. It gives the impression to a foreigner that if the security is removed all hell could break lose just like sheikh it seemed to the sheikh. Besides the northern touristy areas no part of Pakistan is safe esp if you remove all this excess security

Any guidance on a marriage that appears to follow all the SunNAH guidelines but the marriage is a secret from the man’s family and his other two wives. He only supports the the new wife leaves the other WIVES TO cater for themselves. When he visits the other wives he pretends that nothing has happened he then depends on the other two wives to feed and cater for HIM FOR ALL HIS NEEDS ALL as in ALL his needs. everything in this statement u made is fine .. aman doesnt need to his family s permission only the woman needs her father's approval to marry a man.. also he doesnt really need to tell his other wives because he is not doing anything haram in the first place .. it would be preferable if he tells them tho it is recommended but he doesnt need permission... HOWEVER if he s using his wives to pay for his needs . then idk how u are calling this a man... part of taking multiple wives is treating them fairly and justly and this guy seems to be exploiting them.. i suggest you seek different opinions fromm different imams from different cultures just in case they might have a cultural bias
