It's really rare for me these days to get excited for any band, especially in this current landscape for post-hardcore and metalcore, but SYSC knows how to keep things interesting and keep getting better with every release. I'm genuinely super hyped for what's to come for SYSC.

@@importedtv yeah of course, I’ve been enjoying a lot of bands that are doing this like revival of an old school sound, with bands like Foreign Hands, Wristmeetrazor, Dying Wish, Kaonashi, If I Die First, Static Dress. It’s just for me personally, SYSC is my favorite of the bunch.

To those who are new to the band: Don't miss out on the more Mathcore-ish previous releases. They're growing with every spin. It's worth it and they last longer in your mind than the "easier" songs. I promise.
It's the dual vocals, I think. It was a lot harder to listen to when it was only Connie, IMO.

I am fairly new to SYSC. Getting big Alesana from this. Is that most of their catalogue or just this song?
Really just this song and the singles that came out for their new album in April. Their first album is like mathcore/hardcore and there 2nd album reminded me a lot of on broken wings and early Norma Jean and there third album was definitely like post hardcore a lot under oath,drop dead gorgeous, blood brothers influences and same here tbh but a lot more accessible for people to get into. I’m 20 now and I been listening to them since there second album first came out out when I was like 15. Have a big hardcore scene where I’m at and this band had done a lot for me lol

Its funny because a good amount of hipster doofuses dont know courtneys background...she wrestled bears ya know. And she obviously liked the chaoticness of like, tastes like kevin bacon, which is quintessential chaos
