    Ya sana şunu söylemek istiyorum;
    Şans eseri ana sayfada çıktı videon ve izleyeyim dedim. Gecenin bu saatinde biraz kafa dağıtmak istiyordum. Açtım, daha ilk saniyeden gülmeye başladım. Ya bak kıza ne kadar da nüktedan falan diye güldüm bir yandan da izlerken. Hatta babama seslendim, ya bak bir kız var ve bunları bunları söylüyor. Aslında ne kadar da haklı, farklı bir açıdan da bakıyor. (Ki bunları söylerken senin yabancı olduğunu düşünmüştüm. Türkiye'de kısa süre yaşadığını falan hayal ettim. Bunca şeyi tam yerine oturtarak anlatınca...) Ama dediğim gibi sadece öyle kafa dağıtmak için izledim. Ve sonra durup bir yerde şunu da dediğimi biliyorum; ama işte o davranışın bizim kültürümüz açısından bir önemi var. Ama o kadar detayına girecek değil ya kız. Tabii bunun üzerinde durmadım ve kültürel relativist bir şekilde izledim videoyu, yargılama yok. Bittiğinde bir an durdum ve aa ikinci part'ı varmış dedim ve sevindim.
    Tüm altı dakika boyunca yaşadıklarım bunlardı. Sonra "lanet olsun ki" aşağıdaki yorumları okumaya başladım ve utandım. Haddini bilmez, bu tarz vlogların anlamını bilmez, etnosentrizmlikte boğulmuş tiplerin yersiz yorumlarını gördüm. Bir de bunun üstüne kendilerini savunmak için çırpınırken ağızlarını bozduklarını fark ettim. Tüm neşem kaçtı ve sinir de oldum. Bir şeyler yazma yükümlülüğünde hissettim kendimi ki bu sırada senin Türk olduğunu da fark etmiş oldum. Ki Türk olmasan bile düşünceleri değiştirecek bir nokta yoktu, aynı şeyleri söyleyecektim.
    Ki Alice, bu videoları çekerken yukarı da da belirttiğim gibi belli amaçlarda çekiyor. Eğlenmek için, eğlendirmek için, belki biraz da bilgilendirmek için. Yüzde yüz eğitim vereceğine dair bir ifade de göremiyorum orada burada. Kızın kendi gayeleri sonucu çekilmiş bir video ve sen bunu bilmeden karşındakini ve emeğini yargılıyorsun. Belki sadece izleyeni güldürmekti amacı, başka hiçbir nedeni de yoktu. Bu kadar basit bile olabilir. Senin tavrın ise buna hakarete giriyor, emeğine saygısızlığa giriyor. Vlog mantığını da bilmiyorsun zaten, bundan ne yazık ki yoksun bir topluluğuz, hep bu videolar altındaki tartışmaların nedeni bu bence. Yani istediğini söyleyebilir bu bağlamda kendi videosunda. Atıyorum; "Türkler halk içinde osurmayı sever." (ki bu cümle daha önceki yorumlara bir gönderi olsun) gibi bir şey de anlatmış olsaydı anlatabilirdi. Kızın sayfası ve kızın videosu. Ki böyle ağır bir ifade de göremedik biz bu videoda (ifadeyi anlam kazansın diye abarttım, aman bunu da büyütüp ooooo türklere osuruyor dedi, demeyin de.).
    Uzun lafın kısası, harbiden kısası, izle geç abicim boş yapma. Çok sinirine dokunduysa şikayet et. Zaten dediğin kadar, bu kadar laf yapacak kadar haklıysan gerekli tedbirler alınır video için. Ama o zamana kadar da klavye ucunda boş muhabbet çevirme. Milleti de yorma, kendini de yorma, vlog sahiplerini de meşgul etme. Ki aslında bu bahsettiklerim sadece bu video ya da buradaki konuşmalar için de değil, genel yani. Ben de sıkılmışım ve patlayacak nokta aramışım sanırım. Kusura bakmasın kimse, bunu okumayı tenezzül eden kimseler tabii.

    When i saw in the title the word "STEREOTYPES" i thought you were going to talk about the misunderstandings about the Turkish culture, and explain to foreigners how they really occur in Turkey.But you were exaggerating all the cultural manners and acting so sarcastically for no reason.We use the "cık" sound to say "no" when we are tired or just don't care that much about the subject matter and it is easier to say, because you don't have to inhale or exhale in order to say it.When we give some sweets to the guest, it's a welcome sign, you don't have to eat it immediately you can keep it, eat it later or if you don't want it you can just say thank you,not now or i don't like sugar... it's not a big deal.The bird poop thing is just a superstition like a black cat means bad luck in other cultures, and it's main purpose is to make up a reason to buy some lottery tickets for some little excitement in order to forget the disgusting thing that just happened. Nobody gets incredibly happy and think they'll be millionaires when a pigeon pooped on their shoulder -_- Finally, when they say "me" on the door, we know who it is from their VOICE TONE, especially when we were already expecting some person to come to our home. If their voice doesn't sound familiar we ask their name, couldn't you think of it?)I tried to teach you these things because from what i've watched i think you don't know them, if you were not joking about them...

    • @7dunya
      @7dunya Před 8 lety +19

      +Ardaaldemir To add to what you just wrote: The "None?" question has a different meaning. The one asking "None?" is meaning that he is OK with something close, or something that he would normally not find appropriate for the need at hand. For example: P1:"Do wee have eggs?" P2:"No" P1:"None?" P2:"Actually wee have 2 eggs which are too old, I would throw them to wastebin. I can give you them. Also we have some boiled eggs in the egg salad which was leftover from yesterday's dinner is it OK if I give them?"
      The one asking "None?" question demands from the other person to think out of the box and tell if some kind of alternative exists like a substitue or something that they would not consider as eggs. What to consider as eggs is relative to what kind of eggs the two people use generally, what the asker is just going to do with the eggs, etc. The second question after hearing a "No" reply is very complicated and there are way more details than Alice told.

There was a sultan, Murad IV, who completely banned tobacco and coffee in the Ottoman Empire, because they were bringing "a decaying influence" on its people. Once the Sultan died, the Turks started back smoking and drinking coffee... much more then earlier.

      That’s true there was a strick ban for smoking and drinking but it was because of a fire in Istanbul in the early 1630s. They actually killed people for that. There was also some bans for getting out to streets after a certain time whiteout a lamb. I know we are weird. But I personally liked the phrase, definitely will be used against my uncle next time I go to Italy. 🤣 probably will be hilarious because he is a Turk so... still thanks for sharing the phrase.

    I don't know why but in Ukraine we have nearly the same stuff
    1. A lot of people take off their shoes before entering, some others (like in my family) are wearing slippers (terlik gibi)
    2. In Ukraine we believe that if some birds do some bad things on you, then you will get some money
    3. We also have hospitality but we definitely don't insist so much
    4. We always answer "me", members of the family I mean. At least in my family it is so.
    5. Considaring "none", this situation offen occurs as well. We say "absolutely no eggs?", "at all?"
    So, we have a lot in common, perhaps because we're neighbours or smth like that. Anyway, I am really glad to find your videos, Alice. I wish you inspiration and I'm anticipating your new videos.
