Ya sana şunu söylemek istiyorum;

I'm American and I don't see why people DON'T take off their shoes in the house. It's so much more comfortable and it makes a lot less noise.
+The Illuminati the most important part is the cleaning in Turkish culture. But of course it is much more comfortable too )))
+Yıldırım Beyazıt I m too lazy to take off my shoes, I rarely take them out. Unless of course it's raining or I have mud on them.
+The Illuminati we definitly take off our shoes at home ,Im suprised to your comment
we must take off our shoes otherwise we cant pray at home
+The Illuminati Why bring dirt from outside into your house? Its unlogical *not* to take off your shoes. Why because west does some stupid shit as filling their house with dirt we are supposed to do that aswell? Turks like having clean houses. Thats one thing this video missed
+The Illuminati the first thing i do when i get home is to take my shoes and socks off. i live in ny. thats literally the best thing ever.
Greek and Turkish people are so alike. Ok we are neighbors and we lived together for many years but I didn't think that we would have so many similarities. Especially the "no" and the "doorbell" part. :)

Idiot.
That is not a stereotype that is true lol
When i saw in the title the word "STEREOTYPES" i thought you were going to talk about the misunderstandings about the Turkish culture, and explain to foreigners how they really occur in Turkey. But you were exaggerating all the cultural manners and acting so sarcastically for no reason. We use the "cık" sound to say "no" when we are tired or just don't care that much about the subject matter and it is easier to say, because you don't have to inhale or exhale in order to say it.When we give some sweets to the guest, it's a welcome sign, you don't have to eat it immediately you can keep it, eat it later or if you don't want it you can just say thank you,not now or i don't like sugar... it's not a big deal. The bird poop thing is just a superstition like a black cat means bad luck in other cultures, and it's main purpose is to make up a reason to buy some lottery tickets for some little excitement in order to forget the disgusting thing that just happened. Nobody gets incredibly happy and think they'll be millionaires when a pigeon pooped on their shoulder -_- Finally, when they say "me" on the door, we know who it is from their VOICE TONE, especially when we were already expecting some person to come to our home. If their voice doesn't sound familiar we ask their name, couldn't you think of it?)I tried to teach you these things because from what i've watched i think you don't know them, if you were not joking about them...
+Ardaaldemir To add to what you just wrote: The "None?" question has a different meaning. The one asking "None?" is meaning that he is OK with something close, or something that he would normally not find appropriate for the need at hand. For example: P1:"Do wee have eggs?" P2:"No" P1:"None?" P2:"Actually wee have 2 eggs which are too old, I would throw them to wastebin. I can give you them. Also we have some boiled eggs in the egg salad which was leftover from yesterday's dinner is it OK if I give them?"
The one asking "None?" question demands from the other person to think out of the box and tell if some kind of alternative exists like a substitue or something that they would not consider as eggs. What to consider as eggs is relative to what kind of eggs the two people use generally, what the asker is just going to do with the eggs, etc. The second question after hearing a "No" reply is very complicated and there are way more details than Alice told.

+Ardaaldemir helal sana kardesım tam olarak anlatmak ıstedıklerımı anlatmıssın

I really can't understand this hate on her. She just posted a funny video about Turkish people. She didn't humiliate them. She is Turkish, too. And these stereotypes are not bad, they are just unique. Stop hating, respect her effort.
Bahsettiğiniz şey de stereotype'lardan biri işte :). Emek verene küfür etmek :)...
I didn’t hate from this video. I’m laughing for 10 min 😀😀
Agree. Plus these stereotypes are TRUE. But I think she missed the bad side of Turkish stereotypes. Like the hatred she gets because of a TRUE and FUNNY video.

Ayça Çınar No hate. You are correct, other cultures share the same mannerisms. So she has a Cat in the house? Interesting. Animals in the house?
Haha it's exactly the same in Moldova! I think this is common for all Balkan people.. :D
+V. Gorbulea it must be coming from Aegean Sea ) ha ? )
+Yıldırım Beyazıt probably! ))
+V. Gorbulea it is likely a culture interaction which went throughout centuries :)
+kel adam Yeah I agree, after all both the Balkans and Anatolia had a strong Thracian, Greek, roman and then Turkish influence

In Italy, when someone is a heavy smoker, we say him "fumi come un turco" (you smoke like a Turk)
Why you guys say that?
I read that it's because of history. There was a sultan, Murad IV, who completely banned tobacco and coffee in the Ottoman Empire, because they were bringing "a decaying influence" on its people. Once the Sultan died, the Turks started back smoking and drinking coffee... much more then earlier.
+Giuseppe Cappelluti lol : )Its really weird thing : )
That’s true there was a strick ban for smoking and drinking but it was because of a fire in Istanbul in the early 1630s. They actually killed people for that. There was also some bans for getting out to streets after a certain time whiteout a lamb. I know we are weird. But I personally liked the phrase, definitely will be used against my uncle next time I go to Italy. 🤣 probably will be hilarious because he is a Turk so... still thanks for sharing the phrase.
Yeah, all the turks know that.
Me and my mother watched it together. Her first comment was" She should have cleaned that kitchen" haha

güzel olmuş çok doğru ve eğlenceli olmuş.hele şu hayır yerine cık deme olayındaki yüz ifadelerine koptum :D :D .türkleri yeren bir kısımda yok. bu bizim kültürümüz. sadece şu talih kuşu muhabbeti biraz abartma olmuş.o sadece bir sözdür.her türk üstüne kuş şeyetse iğrenir temzilemeye çalışır yani ama genel olarak güzel.ama bizim türkler bu konularda çok hassastır bu vidyoya gülüp geçeceklerine hemen küfürleri sıralarlar.halbuki bunu izleyen hiçbir yabancı türklere karşı kötü bir his beslemez öyle bir şey anlatılmamış çünkü. evet ayakkabıyla eve girmeyiz, misafire bazen samimiyetsiz aşırı hoşgörü gösteririrz, parayı biz ödemeye çalışırız,hayır yerine cık deriz, misafire yada çocuklara yemek yedirecez diye kılı kırk yararız bunlar kültürümüzde yok mu?var.utanılacak şeyler mi?hayır.çok şirin adetler bence.bunları yayınlamanında bir mahsuru yok.mahsur bulan kendi kültüründen utanan bir takım zavallılardır. good video and funny and true!
Bizimkiler misafiri de sokmazlar içeri ayakkabıyla :D onun dışındakilere katılıyorum başarılı bşr video olmuş tebrikler :)
Hi Alice, I'm Greek and I really enjoyed your video - really made me smile. Putting aside politics, which are always 'dirty' everywhere in the world, we have so many similarities, this is just how Greeks are...Hep sevgi ve barış isterdim!
I am a turkish person and actually I like how you are describing turkish stereotype couse it seems we are little bit different. It makes me feel special:)
KIz bizi eleştirmemiş sadece bazı evrensel kültüre ters alışkanlıklarımızdan bahsetmiş ve haklı da hatta bir bakıma bizi övmüş.. Anlamadan yargılamışınız resmen.
Hey Alice, I'm Turkish and ı love this video.. Thank you so much.. Your determination about some our stereotypes are so true :)
And dont get upset about bad critics ;)
Anlamadan yargılama falan yok. Yalan yanlış salak salak konuşmuş.
+eşşeğin kanalı Ne yanlışıymış o? sen kendi stereotypelarını bilmiyorsan o senin cahilliğin. Bizim hakkımızdaki gerçekleri söyleyecek olsam şunlardan bi video yaparım: şişli etfale sıçan teyzeyi koyar araplar gibi sokaklara sıçıyoruz, kana rengini veren şeye vişne suyu diyoruz, karı kız gördük mü elimizioramıza buramıza sokuyoruz, hacı hoca diye 5 yaşında kıza tecavüz edenlerin karşısında eğiliyoruz derdim! Kim kapı ziline benim diye cevap vermiyor ya kim hayır ben ödiycem kavgası vermiyor ???? NE YANLIŞMIŞ ? Siz sadece klasik türk milleti olarak aaa kimse bize bişi diyemez, e arkadaş iyi bişi demiş, yok canım ne iyi diycek o kimmişte konuşur. Saçmasınız hakkateni defolup gidin o zaman kanaldan be salak ya.

+Doğukan Tunçkal thank you ! i really can't understand this argue about me insulting my nation... what the fuck??!
+Alice Mustang You're right, I mean what is this idiotic whining about certain political issues? Honestly I don't find any of this to be offensive towards your home country. I just don't get it why some Armenian or Greek person starts writing hate speech about you and your country?
Videonun neyine kızıyorsunuz anlamıyorum bence gayet güzel. Go on Alice :)
I don't know why but in Ukraine we have nearly the same stuff
1. A lot of people take off their shoes before entering, some others (like in my family) are wearing slippers (terlik gibi)
2. In Ukraine we believe that if some birds do some bad things on you, then you will get some money
3. We also have hospitality but we definitely don't insist so much
4. We always answer "me", members of the family I mean. At least in my family it is so.
5. Considaring "none", this situation offen occurs as well. We say "absolutely no eggs?", "at all?"
So, we have a lot in common, perhaps because we're neighbours or smth like that. Anyway, I am really glad to find your videos, Alice. I wish you inspiration and I'm anticipating your new videos.
We totally do those things Alice 😂 don’t listen people you are right haha
As a turkish guy,i can say most of the video is true.but the first one is not totaly true.Even if you're a guest YOU TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES. No privilige. :)
most of these apply to Bulgaria and Bulgarians as well

Craig Pointon yazık... üzülmeli miyiz bu duruma :) türk olduğumdan olabilir belkide???
Alice Mustang Hemen laf sokma adama.Birşey dememiş herif.
Buna ironi denir.
Hayır Mustang abla buna daha ziyade "eleştiriye tahammül edemeyen bilmişlik" denir.
Söylediği eleştiri mi gerçekten; ben türküm aksanımda türklük olur. Bu dediği eleştiri değil boş laf. Senin yaptığın yorumdan eleştirnin anlamını bilmediğini düşünüyorum. bu mevzuyuda uzatmiycam.
Kisses from Greece!!! I'm impressed by how we act alike.
Haha nice work alice!! So cute and so true. Congratz.
We don't say "Omg! I'm so lucky!" when a bird shit on us. We are saying "Omg! I am so lucky!!" when a bird come and sit our head or shoulders.
Alice this is a wonderful video about turkish stereotypes it describes everything exactly
wow...Most of these are true in India too(well except the bird pooping stuff)..enjoyed this thoroughly😊
TURKISH STEREOTYPES = Watching Construction Machine and drive a car toward your friend to say hi !
Merhaba! The Turks have always been so nice to me whenever they visit our country... I remember just the other night they kept insisting to buy me and my friend a soft drink... and we just laugh so hard trying to communicate through a translator in a phone, but we really felt the brotherhood...
So I'm Turkish and I live in U.S, these exercises are so true :)) but Turkish people are very proud don't forget guys :)
finally a Turkish CZcamsr who speaks english
Hhhh The same Algerian Stereotypes

Not even one is different than us, Greeks. Love you neighbours!!!
Questioning nullity was a great catch! gave me a huge laugh! "do we have any leftovers? Are you sure? how can that be? how come we forgot this? there has to be more of it!" hahahaha
I really enjoyed when you are describing number six and seven :D Thanks :D

Mustafa ÇELEN tayyip in ortadoğu elçiisi misin lan kulis yapıyon. :)

Hikmet Erakman no hate, she is so silly and distracting with her freaking drama.
she exaggerates too much, it's so dumb
I am from Brazil and I really like Turkey. Maybe I will learn Turkish someday
Literally just saw my mom in every stereotype. This video is just so true. That voice thing actually can’t be written, I just realized. But then we can’t write the disapproval voice “çıkçıkçık” as well? What?!
