Normal Summon Mo Ye. declare effect revealing Chunjun/wyrm in hand.
CL1. Opponent activates veiler/imperm/whatever.
CL2. Chunjun effect, tributing Mo Ye to SS itself.
Mo Ye will still resolve, summoning a lvl 4 token.
If you make Chengying it gets real spicy, potentially banishing 3 of your opponent's cards.

I'm terrible at assessing the power of new cards, but isn't Abyss Dragon Swordsoul good? If Tear is still running around in the meta and Kashtira is gonna be big, wouldn't a card that stops field spells and gives you a body be good, at least as like, a side deck card?

You can only special summon the new swordsoul if a card Is banished by a wyrms effect so it dosent work with bystials they are dragons n I don't think it works with chixiao bc he banishes 4 cost so it has 2 b a tenyi or 1 of the 2 big swordsoul bosses
Incorrect. It states if a monster is banished by an effect. I also never said Chixiao would trigger it's effects. The Tenyi monsters also banish for cost.
Abyss Dragon Swordsoul said it must be special summoned by a Wyrm monsterâs effect(keep in mind, itâs a Wyrm itself so thatâs his own effect) and you can special summon this card from hand or grave IF A MONSTER IS BANISHED BY A CARD EFFECT.

I feel like Abyss Dragon Swordsoul is kinda mids, it comes back one time before being banished and can only banish if there's a field spell, so it just ends up being a 3k body with no consistent interaction.
Yea. Its a lore card and supposed to work against the Ice Jades.
Not to mention if I am going against a deck with a field spell I will likely already banish it so they do not get the initial effect.. Would be so much better if it was any spell/trap + monster on the field or in the grave

Run it as a 1 of. Also golden swordsoul as a 1 of. You can use golden swordsoul to revive or summon iris from hand if a card is banished.

The Abyss Swordsoul has to banish 1 field spell and one monster on the field or GY at the same time; itâs completely dead if a field spell is not present, just a big beater.
The icejade card is decent, but not sure if itâs better than Dragite at this point, time will tell.

@@zekiel2533 chaos mirage dragon; itâs a new level 4 tuner wyrm from Photon Hypernova. It can be dumped with Taia and summoned with Yazi etc. you can use it to make Psychic End Punisher in an end board and when used as material it banishes at least one card đ .

What would I run if I donât want to run any bystials due to price (I know they also help with synchro plays but I canât shell out that cash)
replace xyz in the extra deck with geomathemech last sigma, replace crimson blader with chaofeng. Then play 1 Adhara and 1 Shtana and 3 Enemy Controller. Pretty budget and ok against current format. You just want to practice your matchups and what to steal then.
The new bystial is dirt cheap, and the rest will probably go down with the Tear nuke.

Surprised your not running chaos mirage dragon, the super from hypernova, summon it of ashuna, synchro with that and longyuan to make chenjying, chaos banishes a card which triggers Chen, 2 removals from 1 synchro, board break easily
How do you summon it off Ashuna? Ashuna specifically states "Tenyi" monster, and not Wyrm.

As a Branded player, I hate going up against them they always have ash in their hands.
Haha I play swordsoul tenyi and I Ashd two branded fusions in one match last locals
If we donât ash mirrorjade can out our entire board. Also if you play Bystial branded with beast. Itâs a free pop every turn feels like tear field spell. That deck can destroy swordsoul. Trust me I know from experience.
@@TheStreetSkate yesterday, none of my branded fusions resolved against the swordsoul player they always had an imperm and an ash in their hand. I got ash'd 4 times in 3 games.

@@dumbguy5435 you experienced a good swordsoul player who kept his hand traps for just the right choke points. It's because of all the hand filling we do. Don't worry though, there's plenty of ways to interrupt and stop us from completing a board. Just flip gozen đ€Ł

You may have missed it. But he mentions that heavenly dragon circle, vessel of the dragon cycle and a second black out are only to be played if you don't own the Bystial's and destrudo. He is not running them together
First combo is off. Shaman doesnt let you use effects from monsters exept tenyi monsters so you can't use chixiao effect to add or banish on that same turn.

The abyss dragon does not work with Bystials the very first line says can not be normal summon or set. Must be special summoned by a wyrm monsters effect.
Yeah and the 2nd line says: "If a monster is banished by card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card" doesnt matter how its banished as long as its by a card effect its own effect triggers to special
