Dude i‘m Planying a variant with taia 3x in combination with the swordsoul spell That revives a swordsoul Monster From grave. You just have one More synchro summon this way because you send mo ye to the grave Witz taia. But i Can Unterstand if Someone says it is Not Good.

Idk about u but this man does not use taia to its full potential seeing how he’s not using virtual world oto hime in his deck with him I’ll have all three main swordsoul synchro monster first turn easy
The combo to summon Chaofeng doesn’t stop Nibiru, BUT it puts your opponent in a bad spot still. On your Baxia summon, they have to choose to either use Nibiru at a bad time, or hold a dead card in their hand. At that point you still haven’t committed to your normal summon of Mo Ye or Taia, and that’s where your more important combos happen. Hopefully that clarifies for anyone looking to pick up Swordsoul 🙂

I just started my swordsoul journey since i had to wait for this deck to drop in price. Love seeing the combos and what i need to know for cards, and alternatives i can put into the deck.

I like those sleeves and the touch of flair on the front of the card. Been out of physical play for over a decade never saw anything like that.

I always play 1 summit to push for the game, and 2 blackout, because when you're combo is partly interrupted (basically imperm or veiler on mo ye), banishing a blackout with chixiao is really neat.
However shtana's effect never procs, that is just straight wrong. The sole reason to play it is it's a level 4 tenyi that allows for dragite. If you don't play dragite i can recommend to go for the fire tenyi (mapura i believe).
In the end it's one of the most basic and common swordsoul list i've seen (except dama mama, she's never played but i like her too)

Duuuuude, thanks for showing this deck some love and showing that it’s still pretty competent. I felt for a while now that Swordsoul seemed to have disappeared overnight and I didn’t know why. Gotta put this deck back on the radar, it’s still taking plenty of names. 💪
It’s just been powercrept to hell at this point. Mannadium and other combo decks are just better.
@@SwagMaster824I clapped Manadium 2-0 with Swordsoul. Baxia and Vishuda are cracked against that deck. I was also running the Bystials as extenders and laid the smackdown. I respect Manadium as a deck, but Swordsoul can contend with it.

Swordsoul is one of my favorite decks along with Heroes. This updated defensive build looks interesting. I swapped over to it. Another awesome offensive style is mixing the Bystials into the deck as extenders. The Bystials are cracked in the deck.
Magnamhut searching Destrudo is pretty nice for a guaranteed Yazi play for follow-up

Hey man me & my friend have been playing s.s. since arise heart is no longer a problem picking it up as a fun deck we decided to put fenrir droplets and psychic end punisher in we normally top locals I was 6th place 😢 ❤ love seeing the deck getting some well earned love ❤️

God i love this deck, when ecclesia doesnt get ashed its godlike. Boom ecclesia effect, summon taia, go in baxia shuffle them cards back, baxia target itself, summon mo ye from grave, show longyuan in hand, go into chixao, then make a lvl 10 with longyuan play. and you just chilling on like 3 strong synchros. I typically search for taia for follow up.
Only issue is with that exact line you have no card in grave for taia effect to get into baxia. I agree it's the best line if you can play emergence first, that way you also test for the ash
Ecclesia into taia but what do you banish with taia, to get the token?
You need to already have a swordsoul card or wyrm in the grave if you want to ecclesia to special taia from the deck and expect to get anywhere with that.
Also, if Baxia targets itself to special Mo Ye back, it destroys itself so you would only have Chixiao and the level 10 synchro.
Some people run two blackout in case you open one you can banish the other which doesnt shoutcast you havimg another

Guys: I'm playing swordsoul, too, the monster negation is nice, but: one dark hole and/or evenly and it's just over. U got Baron and nothing else.
1. No one plays Dark Hole.
2. If they commit evenly, you'll have fewer interruptions with Barron/Chichao than Sinister/ChiChao. They've already lost their BP and you get to play for free.

Great video as always! Back to the last video about yugioh nit being fun, i have a solution:
I call it the Stam format and the while the rules are mostly the same, you have more deck building restrictions:
Monsters: You can only have 2 monsters with 3 copies each and 3 monsters with 2 copies each. The rest kf the monsters must be one copy.
Spells: 1 spell with 3 copies. 2 spells with 2 copies each. And any other spells limited to one copy each.
Traps: the same rules/restrictions as spells.
Extra deck: only one copy per card.
Requirement: must have a minimum of 5 trap cards in main deck.
This format is meant for everyone to both beginners and pros as it limits the card usage and mainly comes down to luck. I don't know if it will work, but it is an idea
Regarding Pot of Desires, is it really beneficial to banish the top 10 cards of my deck just to draw two?
You generally play it in decks where you run lots of 3-ofs. In modern Yugioh, decking out is generally not a problem--games end far before that. The only real risk is banishing your one or two-ofs and swordsoul tends to play few of those. It's still a risk, and you need to time it so that it doesn't get negated, but it's a pretty safee card in a deck like this.
Swordsoul also benefits slightly from high numbers of banished cards, which helps.
In Swordsoul, Pot of Desires is really good in especially when you go in with Chengying for the kill, turning him into a 4000+ beat stick and weakening your opponent's monsters by 1000+. Other than that, I do not like Pot of Desires. I like Triple Tactics Talents over it.

I have been playing this deck for about a year now and I currently play a similar list but I finally decided to cut Yazi and put PsyEndPunisher in. Yazi is very hard to make if you arent using Taya and if you are, making Baxia is better as it accomplishes more in the same way. 2 shuffles instead of 1 destuction plus you still get a level 4 or lower wyrm (i know yazi can get you bigger monsters but it isnt worth it plus if it gets ashed you are left with nothing on board). PsyEndPunisher on the other hand can be made easily with any level 7 tenyi plus a swordsoul token (provided you arent locked in wyrms yet and manage your longuan burns better) but that is just an example of a replacement. Yazi just isnt good anymore and imo it just eats up extra deck space

When it first came out or what? I wouldn’t say the whole deck is 50 bucks but it’s certainly not 350. I priced the main deck monsters spells, traps and entire extra deck at 50 on tcg player. I only left out hand traps and side deck cards. Everything has gotten reprinted multiple times.

This is pretty much full power.. there’s not much else you can do with the deck it’s as robust as it gets
full power is basically trying to incorporate Thrust into the deck. Thrust into Vessel can (somewhat) play through Nibiru if you only opened the Swordsoul part of the deck

You summoned 5 times at Baxia. Ashuna, Adhara, Monk, Vishuda, Baxia. If they nib you there you're dedge
You can do all of this without a normal summon. So the idea is to go up to baxia and if they nib you, you can ns mo ye and continue your plays.
The point is that it's a bad place to nib u don't commit to your actual plays until they use nib in a bad spot or u lock them out of it
If he puts out baron he can dodge the nib
