- Join John and Liam today as we discuss the on going career of newly appointed Rotherham United player Sam Clucas. Clucas started his career as a youth player for Leicester City where he spent six years, before being released. He studied at Lincoln College and had a spell at Nettleham towards the end of the 2008-09 season, before joining his hometown club Lincoln City where he stayed until being released in the summer of 2010. After a short spell in Spain he returned to England and rose from League Two to the Premier League with Hereford United, Mansfield Town, Chesterfield and Hull City; scoring in each division in the process. He joined Swansea City on 23 August 2017, thus ending his stay with Hull City. Clucas spent the 2017-18 season with the Swans before joining Stoke City in August 2018.sam now plays at rotherham!

He now plays for Rotherham United, they train on the cricket pitch I played on for over 10 years and next toa golf course I was a member of for over 20 years. Hope he enjoys his time at my local team, he would be a great addition to Golf Mates get him for a day out at Lindrick or Rotherham GC. A Really enjoyable edition Liam your subjects get better and are so enjoyable thank you.
Sam was never signed as a replacement for Sigurðsson the Swans fans aren't that daft.
The massive problem for Sam was that Swansea had the chance to buy back a former fans favourite Joe Allen from Liverpool that summer but didn't and signed Sam instead and then as the club struggled the fans then took out the frustration of not signing Joe on poor Sam. Thanks Sam for saying nice things about my club despite your struggles with us.

Another good show John and Liam I lapped it up as usual. Sam's a good player I remember him playing at Hull and Swansea I thought he'd play at a top six club I thought he was that good. I hope he finds a club quickly as he's still got a lot of football left in him yet. God bless boys keep the good guests coming.

@ashleybillyeald3065 so what, my point was that I thought he'd play at a top six club when I first saw him play, it didn't work out that way for him but that's not to say he didn't have the ability. If Hull and Swansea could've stayed in the EPL who knows what could've happened for the boy. It was my opinion but opinions are like arseholes everybody's got one, I know which category you're in if you didn't agree all you had to do was move on, ya 🤡
