The AVI format will allow the user to playback the video using a standard Windows media player (or any media player that supports AVI files), while the raw file format will have to be played with the DVR Backup Player.

Good morning.
I have completed all steps as you explained in this video upto removing pen drive from Hikvision NVR. I tried to play footage folder in the desktop.But, the folder is empty.
I tried different video formats like MP4, MP4*JPG, MP4*ZIP etc. from the NVR before sending the footage to the pen drive....but no use.
Please solve my problem.

When the clip is exported to pendrive, will it be deleted from the hard disk or it will be copied in the pendrive and also present in the hard-disk.

@@gurukrupainfotech8743 i have connected dvr surveillance hdd to laptop with 12 volt adaptor but the problem is the format of hdd i.e. mbr and laptop needs gpt format. That's why even after connecting it's not showing in windows explorer.
