Cirque show is amazing 🤩 Do the show and champagne dinner package. You will love it!!
I found it much easier to just walk around. The first day was a little tricky but after that it was easy. Plus you get to see all the animals and plants
I was there in December 2020 and I was really impressed. The local transportation is the best!

I attended a presentation in PV and understood only members can stay there. What makes Cancun resort different? Desperation during lockdown?
I know they have like 5-6 different buildings. I think some are time share only and some are different. I didn't have to attend a timeshare presentation.
Where exactly do I get the colectivos from there ? Where do I walk to and how do I know the times
The colectivos just pass by Vidanta at random times. You just have to wave one down. If they are full they obviously won’t stop but if they have space they will typically flash your lights at you. Just make sure you are on the right side of the highway to get where you are going.
If you are in town the colectivo leaves Cancun across the street from Ado and at the Chedraui off the highway in Playa del Carmen. They leave every 5 minutes or so.
We were planning to rent a car in order to get around. Do you advise against that?
A lot of people prefer to rent cars. I don’t like driving so I normally don’t. If you plan on visiting a lot of places then it will save you a lot of money and time.
Just a personal choice, we prefer PV over Cancun,, now that the Cirque is in PV, crazy, too busy in PV, lets don't forget bout the high pressure timeshare presentation... its 90 mins long, we go fro the free breakfast and the discounts, then at 91mins, see ya, they get pissed off cause you don't want to spend a $100k.... I'll pay the 15% not to go to the presentation,,, but your info is good.The hand over the heart is a feel good Mexican to you, its fine, but gets old.
Vidanta is NOT in Cancun, its in the riviera maya. about 30 miles south.
What do you mean it's 20-30 dollars to get out of the resort? Do you mean they charge for parking? That part was a little confusing.
That’s just for a taxi. I don’t know if they charge for parking.

Do you know what a rental Car is or you can either get a Uber or taxi if you pay a little bit more money you can actually get a Rent-A-Car you pay for the rental car here before you leave the states and you just pick it up at the airport why the Hassle

I think that was where they put us because they were doing some renovations that week. I cannot confirm which one is better
I am receiving a call to go and listen to the presentation. I am getting the invitation. Not all inclusive. And I am trying to find how.much that is. Is the foos really that pricy
I did see time share families that brought their own food. When I went there was only 1 or 2 restaurants available because it was right after lockdown and not a lot of people there. So I am not sure about the food prices

But beach there is terrible - very rocky....need special shoes to go to water and swim. My sister cut her leg during swimming.
That sucks. I didn't actually swim in the water and just laid on the beach and pool.
