Hi teacher Jonah! I am a Filipino born in America and I didn’t get the chance to learn bisaya from my parents when I was younger, so I’m starting now. Right now my parents are teaching me a little bit of Bisaya, but I like to continue studying it online during my free time. However, it’s really hard to find good free resources that teach Cebuano, which is why I really appreciate your channel! I like this video in particular because it really focuses on the grammar. Most cebuano resources barely teach any grammar and just state the English translations for nouns which is helpful but they’re not exactly what I am looking for. I asked my parents how to make my own sentences except they usually would say cebuano doesn’t have clear grammatical rules. But I want to continue to learn how to construct my own sentences like how you did in this video. If you can make more videos that center around sentence structure or other types of grammar that would be amazing! Again thank you for making this channel!😊

I just discovered your lesson and it has opened my eyes to why I have not learned Bisayn after years in Mindanao! No one could explain the
Past, future, adverbs, sentence structure. Also so many speak English here it is to easy to get lazy. I am 78 years old and will start to apply your five steps each day.

Also, gi is added on the action that was done just recently. Example:
Gikaon nako ang pan. (The action is done just recently)
Nikaon ko ug pan. ( action is done in the past. It can be recent or not
