I use valhalla and Gt1. I get TONS of sustain. Hahahah. Great video man. Love that ambient opening.
thank you very much! There are definitely alternatives, but I just have so much fun with these. I wanted to show some alternative options to shredding with it. These things are great for making big ambient soundscapes and play really well with a lot of pedals. -Jonny

I just got a Synyster signature with sustainiac. I'm struggling to find ways to keep the strings I want to sustain and at what recovery after fretting.
Is there ideal pickup height for the sustainiac? If it uses the bridge, that does question how high those should be as well.
I think we need more tutorials on different techniques with it.

Cool video! Any tips for muffling/muting other strings when using the Sustainer?
you can tie something around up by the first fret, like a sweatband, hair tie, bandana, etc... there is also a product called a fret wrap that I like a lot. other than that, just trying to use your picking hand to keep the other strings muted.
Would love to find a sustainiac on a non-Floyd Rose guitar.

Can you demo a Sustainiac guitar played with an Ebow?
unfortunately we don't have any ebow's in stock. I have a feeling using both together would get messy. the ebow can only operate on one string at a time, and requires your right hand to use it. I don't know that you'd notice much of a difference in sound, and you'd limit your ability to play multiple strings like you can with just the sustainiac. also, the magnet pull on the string might fight with each other and make both of them less effective.
I could be wrong, so if we have both in stock at the same time, can't hurt anything to try!
@@CAHouseMusic Actually It does hurt ! if you play an Ebow into a Sustainiac you will overload the Sustainiac circuit board and damage it!
