- Posting this to possibly help someone with their problem. This is what was wrong with my mower. Slim chance a lot of people have the same problem but you never know. Now I know I need to do some wiring repairs to the exposed wires and plan to soon
Blake, I have a neighbor that has the same problem with his, so! It's now May 5th and his is in the shop still after two wks. I just called & I told him to go by that shop but let me go with him and we will see if we can't fix the dam mower ourself. Thanks for submitting this video it was very informative. Just trying to help my neighbor from getting ripped off by this buisness here that is always backed up. Thanks again! Blake.
The advice that you recommended was spot on. I had the same problem and watched the video. I looked at the wires and the ground was loose. Problem solved. Thanks
Glad it helped
Thanks for posting that video it is giving me other ideas to try with that problem also!!!!
Yes!!!! That was very helpful,!!
Glad it was helpful!
That was my exact problem. Thanks a bunch brother.
Man that's exactly what my problem was. Thanks for the help my friend 👊🏽
No problem man, glad I could help
Thanks buddy it's off my problem too! I had changed the drive belt and when I plug the wire back in it didn't make a good connection. So I cleaned it up and made sure it was all the way in and it fixed the problem thank you again!
No problem, glad this video helped.
Thanks I found the same wire for lose connection. I had no idea
Glad my video helped, that's the reason I posted it.
Thank you this video help alot
I have the same lawnmower and same problem
Did you get it figured out?
Dude this video was pretty helpful man.
I have the same mower and same issue. In my case the pto will not disengage thus not satisfying the start interlock. Still troubleshooting and will followup with your recommendation. Thx, G
Any luck? Got a brand new one and mine stopped disengaging first use…
@@jefftmc Turned out to be another one of the interlocks. After fighting with it a while, I made a jumper cable and jump around the interlocks (battery to starter). The mower was purchased heavenly used and abused and I’m about to sell it for scrap…
Genius
Thanks!
I bought this same mower was told it needed a deck belt. Put deck belt on and new tension spring. I think I have it all routed right but I get nothing from the pto
Does it make any noise when you engage pto? You should hear a click when it engages.
Very Good!... #9 ✝ {5-13-2022}
My issue is, the pto will only engauge(can audibly hear the switch) at the lowest throttle setting. I can engage at low, then run the throttle up to normal cutting speed and the blades will work. Cut the switch off and it will disenegage the blades. But won't engage again until the throttle is moved back to lowest setting. Any ideas?
Is it the exact same mower as mine? If it was newer, it almost sounds like it could be a safety feature. But I'm not sure.
