I love rain and If it rains at bedtime then the rain often, together with a thunderstorm, becomes like a lullaby for me...💖

Oh I love rainy days, when I can be home and snuggled up within my home.
Super rainy too in Paris. So warm tea, cooking (roasted veggies, soups, weekly meal prep) reading a good book/watching docimentaries is the way to go ! (Already made some stewed appples and deshelled the walnuts somebody offered me 🙏 i will probably have a good bath/beauty session tonight 🤗

I feel the same way...especially on snow days, when the light becomes so amazing reflecting in the house and outside all looks perfect and that fabulous muffled sound, almost like a silence you can hear ....another reason to slow down

Yesterday it rained here in Florida. A slow light rain with a gentle wind. It was a day of reflecting for me as I lost a dear sweet family member. I put out pictures of us , as children, burned candles, drank some tea & had a lovely time remembering the happy good days. It was a slow peaceful day. A grateful day for her life & our times of life together.

Loved the "crumble"! Reminds me of my grandmother who always had a"cobbler" made from whatever fruit was available as well. 🤗 Despite the distance of a couple of centuries, pieces of our food history hangs on. Rainy days are such a blessing. Water for the earth and respite for the mind.

When I lived in the city, I would sit on the front covered porch and watch the rain come down and roll down the street like a river. It was very heavy rain, but I enjoyed watching it. Blessings!

When I was a small child I loved the rain falling at night. I fell asleep by it although I tried to stay awake just to listen for as long as I could. So many feel the same, I am sure.

As I appeared to be the only person I knew who felt this way I wondered whether I had been born into a rainy day world and so had felt comforted and at home.
