Honestly the suits wouldn't be that bad if they just had white eye lenses instead of clear, and pony-tails instead of the let-down hair.
I agree on the eyes for sure (besides Jessica I think no lens works pretty well for her tbh) but idk if pony tails would work in live action tbh, especially In action scenes
@@Grimsly3736 ponytails might not look as good, idk, but having it completely let down like that would get in the way so much and be completely frazzled with all the acrobatics a Spider-woman would be doing.

I hate all of them. They need the white lenses, not just some transparent googles. Non of the masks hide their identity. Not even a little bit. The black suit looks more BDSM than spiderman. This suits suuuuuck!

My only gripe about the suits is being able to see their eyes through the lenses, just defeats the purpose of a mask when 80% of your face is visible

Honestly yeah it'd be one thing if it was to protect their eyes from the air while swinging but the middle doesn't even have lenses so that doesn't work. It's the classic issue of directors making things not make sense just so they can show the actor's faces
@emiclaret7995 yea I feel like most of the costumes are really good but I think there's a few things that make a spider suit really good, the spider logo, the colors and the lenses. Like the lenses are supposed to help animate their faces but when you can see their eyes and most of their face then what's the point of even wearing the mask
The costumes look less like Spider-people and more like generic old school superheroes.
i somewhat agree but also robin, the incredibles, green lantern, miss marvel and plastic man altough the last 2 probably not the best examples
The main thing for me is the masks. They evoke that sidekick, lesser importance energy like their identities aren't being protected at all which makes masks feel unnecessary, and for a spider-person design, I think a mask with lenses or bugs eyes is important. Idk they look like cosplay meant for being comfortable and hot, not a canon, in universe Spidey equivalent
I feel like the main issue with these suits are that the logos have so many unnecessary details, it doesn't make them look like Spiders. They kinda look more like the Centipede squad.

Actually, they definetely are. Looking at the suits, the logos especially, ther are some tiny mistakes that don't happen under normal circumstances. Like small parts are detached from the rest and the lines are wonky.
worst part is, if this is true.... they didn't even bother to correct these issues
100% of these are AI-generated and translated into real life. This is what happens when you try to save cost and not hire concept artists, you get soulless shit like this.

I think my main issue is that none of those suits look comfortable or high mobility, imo an essential element of a suit. They look like they’re made of plastic.
Ezekiel's Spider suit kinda looks like an inverted version of the Forgotten Spider-Man from the creepypasta of the same name.

Here’s what I don’t understand, how come when it comes to a Spider-MAN suit the design is easy and simple but when it comes to a Spider-WOMAN design they’re always overly designed and look really confusing to make??
I mean... I've seen some really overdesigned sm suits aswell, so idk what you mean by spider-man suits being simple in comparison.
I don’t know how we got here tbh, especially with the most popular spider-girl being Gwen rn, who has the least complicated designed suit

There are barley any spider-women in movies, and the ones they ARE in, such as the spiderverse movies, they're pretty simplistic, they said the suits are "always overly designed", But thats just innacurate in general, and especially true if they just mean film, because theres only a couple of them! It's literally just this move and spider-verse that have spider-women, and these designs arn't even that over designed! that spider-man outfit is more designed than the spider-women outfits in this move, and even then, i would argue that some of the mcu spidey suits are more over designed then the ones here!

For me it’s the fact that they all have see through lenses. It makes them look goofy and it’s such a small but needed change for them to have lenses that don’t expose their eyes. Especially with Sydney’s mask. Honestly maybe through in a Spider-Woman with a full mask

Honestly I think I haven’t thought much about the suits in this movie because I’m shocked we even have actual Spider heroes in this universe now
The main problem I have with these suits is just that it seems like they may not have had enough budget (and maybe time, depending on what the product is like).
Because I can see that the designs have something there,but they’re just a bit short of something;because they just look a bit off to me, but I’m unsure as to what specifically it is.

Personally I really like them. A lot of em are cheesy, sure, but I mean they look leagues more interesting and real compared to a lot of other super suits in recent media. I mean.. Ezekiel’s suit is GREAT, it’s edgy, it has depth and texture, the eyes don’t look CGI… guess I’m a sucker for early 2000’s type designs
Honestly the fact that they are kind of campy in a way makes me not really want to hate them that much too, although there is a lot to criticize

I think the Sydney suit has the logo look so weird and different is because they're saving the classic Symbiote Logo for Tom Holland
The problem I have with the movie’s marketing is that it doesn’t feel like the Spider-Man mythos. It looks worse than fan made. It look like hardly anybody on set reads/watches Spider-Man.
The villain beat so many women in the trailer I had to check this wasn’t an Antman crossover

I love that Isabella Merced is in this and is also Hawkgirl in Superman: Legacy. It's almost like she knew this movie is gonna bomb so she's making sure she gets that superhero universe paycheck one way or another and honestly, I'm here for it.

The material just looks like something from the 90s Batman movies
The only problem I have with the suits, ESPECIALLY The monochromatic designs Is the fact that the main purpose of spiderman is that anyone can be Spidey under the mask. It's the same issue I kinda had with Jessica Drew in across the spider verse but I let it slide since 9 out of 10 in the movie, she was always moving fast so unless you were a spiderman variant, you won't catch her often strolling let along off her motorcycle. I get some of the characters wear goggles and all, but these masks for these women are so thin, it feel like the whole super man situation where the only thing keeping him from being recognized is the hair curl vs the glasses. Aesthetic wise, I agree red and blue took the cake, and the other two could have been better, but if I saw them on the street I'd be able to tell that they're spider women without a 2nd thought
The "meh" spider-dude costume does make me think of Kane. Now that's from someone who knows the Ultimate Spider Man Kane better than the 616 Kane (i.e. not very well at all) but it's still my opinion.
As for the girls? Only really care about Madame Web, and I just choose to ignore the idea that it's meant to be anything but a web. So it looks fine to me.
This guy needs to be a Spider-Man asap. He matches the personality and looks really well. And he's a good suit designer.
Also, personally my favorite suit is the middle suit, I just wish her mask had the white eyes and was full without the chin strap look.

Julia’s suit is almost good but the random lines at the bottom of the logo ruin it and the mask sucks idk why it has like cutouts on the sides and as with every suit idk why they don’t have the lenses

i don;t know what it is, but there is something extremely captivating on Spider-Man critic other spider costumes. If anyone is allowed to judge it might as well be the prime example!

From the neck down, they're pretty cool. Could be way better of course, but pretty servicable. The masks really could use spidey lenses though. (Though like maybe one of them could have a mask that covers the mouth instead if they look too similar with the lenses) Also I actually quite like Ezekiel's(?) design because it really does feel like a dark twisted antagonistic Spiderman. Something that's corrupting the ideals of Spiderman. I see the pattern as like, a torn up web maybe, sort of a visual indicator to his role as a killer of Spider People maybe.
I enjoyed your take on this. The merch looks great. I can’t get anything now but I will try again next weekend

I don´t dislike them but I still think putting a lot of detail doesn´t make it look better, sometimes less is more.

I have to say, I'm very purist towards Julia Carpenter suit because that's basically Peter's symbiote suit, which is where the design originally came from comics lore wise, and that design is perfect. There's just no need to change it, it's simple, it's sleak, it's cool, it's practical, so just do it.
"Oh but that's Peter's symbiote suit design, they would be stealing from him just because she's a woman, where's the originality?"
And THIS is why they changed it, because idiots don't know what they're talking about and all they wanna do is complain about something they don't even care about. We're finally getting Spider-Women in a movie and all people wanna ask is "Where's Spider-Man?". That's why people deserved to get 'Morbius' and 'Venom 2'.
I just had idea on how gameplay could work in marvel's Spider-Man 3, And it would combine stuff from Spider-Man 2 movie tie-in game, tasm 2 tie-in, other games from the mid to late 2000's, and marvel's spider-man 2, mostly in traversal
From tasm 2 it would be having the webs u swing from depend on which trigger being held when in air, Like L2 would swing from left and R2 from right
Pressing them at the same time would do a point launch like in regular insomniac spider-man, But if u pause between pulling the triggers it'll cause u to hold 2 webs at once, Either to go into the next swing or do a double handed loop-de-loop
If u press X while holding them in the air, it'll do an mid-air slingshot like how R2+L2+X does a slimgshot on ground
If you hold oneof them by itself and press triangle, you would make the webline you can walk on while in the air
L1 by itself would shoot web darts from the left hand, much like how R1 works, But pressing the face buttons while holding L1 would still open the abilities, like how R1 and any face button opens gadgets
If you're swinging on R2, you can shoot your webs with L1 and vice versa
L2 on the ground or on a webline would be aiming again like normal
And
If you're swinging from left or right separately, Holding up or down on the left stick will make you either climb or descend from it like in the middle-late 2000's games
So imagine this
Do a double-handed loop-de-loop into a webline by pressing triangle
Then, while in the webline, you can aim to make another one like in MSM2, or you can do another ground slingshot
But thats just a thought

Like seriously, if you look up AI Spider-Man pictures or generate it yourself using DALL-E, you'll see the exact same mistakes and overdesign issues like on these costumes.
I wish they have white eyes the suit will be looking creepy like for Batman if Batman have white eyes and in live action it will look something you should be scared

I think the Julia Carpenter / Spider-Woman one looks pretty descent but I just wish they’d fix the mask by giving it the white eye lenses and if they get rid of the extra lines towards bottom of the spider abdomen.
I think Madame Web’s costume isn’t that bad I just wish the lines extending from the web in the center was a bit thicker.
I’m not the biggest fan of the other 2 costumes. But that’s just my opinion.
