    People remember that this Airgun is built to provide low cost, at home live fire, concealed carry training for those who own the 9mm powder burning P365. It doesn't need to be a powerhouse for 7 yard defensive drills.

      Bob Marquardt i like it and bought one today for the fact that it’s not allowed in canada to have a gun this short of a barrel.

    • @texas66
      @texas66 Před 3 lety +1

      I have one and it is such a perfect duplicate of the real 9mm it's only a matter of time before someone uses the wrong one. If you have both, it is a very good practice tool, but be very careful to keep them separate!

    • @swangin84
      @swangin84 Před 3 lety +2

      @@texas66 I would think the real one would be heavier. I don't own either one I'm actually curious to know the answer. I've also heard that it's such an exact replica you can still use the same custom holster for both. Wow.

    • @texas66
      @texas66 Před 3 lety +2

      @@swangin84 From the Sig Sauer web site, the real P365 is 17.8 ounces empty, the air gun version is 13 ounces empty. Loading the air gun with the CO2 cartridge adds a little over an ounce so it is a little lighter but it is exactly the same size, out can use the same holster. So put the real one far away if you're practicing with the CO2 version in a place you would not shoot a real gun!!!!

For the money that I spent 100 bucks, I’m not even gonna waste my time shipping it back-and-forth to the place I’m just going to chalk it up to a bad purchase that looks pretty cool.

    I bought one of these as soon as I saw it and it's one of my favourite guns, it feels so real. The action is very simple as the trigger squeezes the barrel directly against the bb whilst still in the magazine and then fires the co2. If your bbs are dry it can make the trigger feel tough and gritty so I sometimes spray some silicone lube over the balls (!) in a container before use which helps a lot. Dust devils are just horrible in this gun. It can also hang up when trying to fire the penultimate bb as the slider gets hung up on a step in the magazine at the top (just shake to release).

    I bought one only because I have the real thing. This way I can do some at home practice because it also fits in my holster. Plus it's cheaper than regular ammo and I kinda prefer it over a lasar target system(especially with blowback). It's closer to the real thing and now I don't need to dry fire my carry gun(or at least do it much much less often, not that I do it often)
    It can also just be for fun plinking as you said.

    Hi Andy - thank you for your great airgun reviews. I like them very much! This time, however, I had a different experience than you. 4 month ago I bought this really nice looking Sig Sauer P365 and I also shared my first impressions in the co2-community. After testing the only thing I really liked was the look of the P365. Unfortunately the pistol was very unreliable. Most of the time the slide made problems. I was also not at all satisfied with the precision. So it was difficult to hit the target (14cmx14cm) at all from 5m away. And there was a big problem with a fast cool down. Or maybe only my P365 had these problems? It would be interesting to know what experiences other owners have had with their P365.

    • @cozmcwillie7897
      @cozmcwillie7897 Před 4 lety +3

      Papa Charlie. I had slide problems too: when the last shot leaves the slide open and you reload a full mag, I found I had to rack the slide back all the way before letting the slide forward. On other guns like '92, or 1911, you press the slide hold open lever to release -the slide flies forward reloads without fuss. But when I did the same with the 365 it didn't fire right until I racked the slide. I hope this is useful else I can't help .
      Also it doesn't tell you how to strip it down in the instructions: when I did it was in great need of oil, which improved things no end. In case you haven't, the right-hand side of the 'take down' lever turns down and around to the seven o'clock position; it moves a bit like the safety catch, but very stiffly and the opposite way.

    • @RWMAirgunsmithing
      @RWMAirgunsmithing Před 2 lety +1

      The bb's are loaded into the barrel when you pull the trigger NOT when the slide cycles but the slide MUST cycle to cock the hammer, you need to pay attention to this to avoid jams. Its good for finger control ;)

    Saw this at Fleet Farm today and held it. Instantly fell in love with it, I just hate the price point, $120 is a lot of money for a bb gun

    Just bought a used one for 10$
    Doesn't work, but the parts alone are worth it to me if I can't get it running.
    Any suggestions?
    Pulling trigger does nothing, can't feel anything besides mush.

    I like this.. But Unfortunately it's another SIG.. And just like almost every SiG. There are issues.. and many of these have lasted only a few weeks. With problems with the slide getting stuck. And issues with the safety. Making the pistol useless! Also very low power! Sig pistols seem to have so much potential! But are let down with there reliability!

    What type pellet does this shoot? .177 steel bbs or 6mm plastic bbs?

    Did you not come across the massive co2 leak with the magazine? A common problem, very common problem, is the co2 won’t seal once broken. Insanely frustrating highly common issue with a lot of the magazines.

    A short 'n' snappy video review for a short 'n' snappy gun, looks great ! Looks fun ! Shame about the price though, if you compare it to other 'conceal carry' sized air pistols like the PPK etc. it seems a tad expensive.

    When does the CO2 cylinder get pierced? Is it when you tighten it into the magazine clip? Or is it when you insert the magazine clip into the pistol?

      Thank you! I learned something new today: plastic BBs. Didn't know they exist. I thought lead and frangible BBs were hard to find, nice to see another option. If realistic BB guns can shoot plastic, there's no need for airsoft anymore :)

    Just a question - probably a silly one. If you use 4.5 mm PLASTIC BBs in a traditional air pistol, then wouldn't it be equivalent to a smaller caliber AIRSOFT gun? And, conversely, if you use 6 mm METAL BBs in an airsoft gun, then doesn't it just become a larger caliber TRADITIONAL AIR PISTOL?

    Does anyone know if there is suppoed to be a gap between the magazine and pistol grip ? I have a 1-2mm gap once the mag is fitted and it's slightly annoying. Mine also isn't keen of Dust Devils. Fired 3 magazines through it and had 4 jams Lovely little thing though, despite a few annoyances, like the plastic breach block cover which doesn't look like it'll last long. I've only been using it for an hour and its already heavily scratched from rubbing on the internals

    great overall gun. only issue is the barrel isn't threaded, so I can't buy a supressor for it, any tips on how to maybe make the barrel threaded or reduce the noise, coz its pretty loud for a small gun haha

    Great video as always I wonder if you can clear up the laws on replica Air guns ! as i am confused you whether or not you can buy these with out them being bright colours as per the VCR act on realistic imitation firearms (RIF)
    I have several airguns and pistols and would love to collect some of these replica's specially the classic ones

    • @matt7775
      @matt7775 Před 4 lety

      Imitation or replica are the words to watch out for ,bb Airsoft guns are replica's, which is where the trouble starts, co2 or air powered pistols or rifles are not replica's they are just the co2 version of the gun so not a replica and no laws broken, if you want an Airsoft gun without the blue or orange plastic on it you have to join a proper Airsoft club etc so you can prove that's why you have a copy or replica firearm, which is illegal

    • @theaikidoka
      @theaikidoka Před 4 lety

      Realistic pellet guns such as this one do NOT require licences or to be brightly coloured as per the VCR. However, Airsoft guns, which are lower in power, DO require either a membership to an Airsofting club or bright colours. The reason for this is not clear, but possibly due to the fact that airsoft guns are likely to be pointed at humans and thus need to be verified as safe by the clubs that use them. It wouldn't stop you buying and using a very realistic pellet pistol to, for exam, rob a person though, so the law is not sensible.
