  • Hello all and thanks for clicking on this wild camping adventure! For this one, I head out to a location in Kent, England for a very rainy overnighter! It was a great opportunity to test out my new tent: the Polish Lavvu - will it perform? I also road test the Rab Downpour Eco rain jacket.
Remember to always let someone know of your location when heading out on a wild camp - and as always, leave no trace.
    Thanks - Ben :-)

  • @paulsoutdooradventures1790

Love the fact I’ve gone and got a lavvu mate awesome you do get a few drip through arm holes when really windy and raining but I must ask have u weathered the lavvu yet before use by soaking it in a garden 3 or 4 times and letting it dry naturally each time this will insure the swelling of the fabric to ensure the watightness with armholes u can add zips to help stop drips I weather my lavvus every several times to ensure they stay water proof they really are fantastic shelters and rain ponchos great designed as a poncho to as they also cover you and ur pack / Bergen. I must admit some people do fabsil them but I think it ruins the idea of wot they are and they are perfectly water tight if weathered correctly anyway I’ve used one for around 15 years for fishing but also wild camps to the half shelter is great for open summer camps etc. The meal and price sounded and looked great mate Awesome video mate
