I love that it's in MCB, I've been on the hunt for a pack in that colorway for a hot minute that I liked. They're within the same ballpark range too. Now I'm back to my indecisive drama haha. Thanks for the review George. That high vis loop back is great. Really stops your stuff from bunching up on the bottom. The one thing i would like for version 2 though are bottle pockets on the sides. It frees up space on the inside and its easier to access quickly without opening up the pack. Other than that its real nice. I love those unpadded top handles so i can weave paracord around it and have a padded handle but also have paracord ready if i need it. Cheers and be safe!
We are educated consumers that knows what we want and demand performance and value. We are not finicky. The internal bottle holder keeps the lines clean. Water bottles are high use items that I need to have easy access to while waiting in line. I don't like to expose the bags contents when I need to get to the bottle. The storage options are top notch. Its obvious where they saved money with this bag. I agree with the back portion. it's lacking. They need air channels to help it breathe. It's a fair price for that bag that has opportunities to be even better. Thank you George.

Hey George, awesome video. That aqua guard zipper over the laptop compartment is really well thought out. So many manufacturers fail to add them on a compartment where expensive electronics are held. I just wish these are easier to get here in the UK. Keep up the great work buddy
Hi George, great vid 👍 This one looks "not bad", BUT ....2 weeks ago my VERTX Gamut arrived and I'm happy to order this nice practical backpack. Yes hook & loop helps a lot to organize well and to avoid to make the backpack bulky. Also I took my Gamut in Nayy blue / dark grey for me its more invisible in urban spaces than the "city camouflage" of the Addax. Take care & stay safe

George if you don’t want to pay for higher end spyderco check out their budget knives like the tenacious. Made in China but same spyderco quality. I bought my tenacious for 37 bucks at Walmart. They are under 50 at Bladehq I believe. I also have a delica 4.

First of all, love your videos but my girl doesn't (I'm a backpack enthusiast with too many packs already as well) but I see see that you've done a couple small pack reviews and Vanquest's but I can't find one on the the Vanquest Katara 16! That's one of my top contenders for best EDC bags although at 16 liters I know it's a bit smaller than what you normally prefer. Check it out though if you get the chance! :D
George DEFINED I love it. I was torn between the 18 or the 25. The 18 turned out to be perfect. All the hook-and-loop is great for organization. I love it. I’m actually reducing all my bags now since I seem to have found the perfect bag for me. Im diabetic and have some other issue and it carries all my daily med crap perfectly, along with my other “needs”. Thanks for the great channel and reviews. Peace and blessings ✌🏻👊🏻
But George, is this pack waterproof? Lol. Just kidding. I like the high vis lining, zippers and organization, but I can't get with the form factor of the rectangular shape, looks kinda odd to me. The fanny pack could be used as a sling bag. Thanks for sharing. One.
This is totally different than what I am used to seeing from Vanquest. I like the camp look but not the over design. Not a fan of the bottle holders being on the inside eating valuable space. This is a hard pass for me. Great vid!

Great pack! I really like it, except the water bottle pockets not on the outside. That’s a dealbreaker. I also prefer clamshell openings.
