As someone who's been in the rabbit hole for a long time, Riro made the whole fiasco with Rushia look tame. Rushia's started as a minor mistake that blew up in unimaginable ways thanks to JP idol culture and the information that she contacted her big superchatters privately to record personal messages to them. Her breaking NDA didnt help either.
Riro just went all in and gave her parasocial fans exactly what they wanted.
TBH Rushia's case wasn't THAT big of a deal. Her saying too much (breaking NDA) and being found to be chatting in private with top superchatters is pretty tame compared to Riro's drug use + compensated dating + dating your manager combo

hi, im a lurker at the r/virtualyoutubers and have also closely followed this whole case. there are some minor details and context to add to this video
1) even before she was riro ron, she was already unhinged as kyOresu, in fact i would say that she was a bit worse. she was known to be somewhat of an alcoholic and in one of her community posts on youtube that announced her joining idol corp, she mentioned that she had to take care of her mental health first. in other words, she was already in a tough spot in the past.
2) the “silly pill” isnt just a sleeping pill. it was actually a pill of benzodiazepine that she was consuming. benzo pills are usually used for anxiety and muscle spasms, and it sedates and induces hypnosis (which also explains why she looked and sounded high as hell). its also a very dangerous drug, as overdosing on benzo pills may result in death
3) speaking of said stream, that stream actually came from a members only stream that had been deleted and leaked out of the public due to the content of it. riro had to clarify that whatever happened was and should have been a joke, but well...
4) the lead talent manager being the one who had a relationship with riro is at best speculation, since the only evidence that it was him was that he got kicked out of the official idol discord server as talent manager. speaking of his role there, did you know that he was just hired as a sound designer and composer for idol corp? in fact he was the one who did the trailer music for idol’s HE branch (their origin branch), their first EN branch (e-sekai), and even riro’s trailer. so for the life of me, i have absolutely no idea how a sound engineer became a lead talent manager
I also had some things to add to this context, before joining Idolcorp, she was also dealing with a drug addiction (which some people found out it was Xanax)
The members only posts is also very suggestive, not only that stream. The community interaction between these posts also devolved from being "idol to fan" interaction to "weirdly too close" after that stream, still could be played off as a joke, but it's weird when you think about it.
Also, that sound designer thing you mentioned, if he did compose the trailer bgm, i noticed that Riro's trailer (assuming you mean the "Kyoresu joined the Idol team" trailer) uses a music from another game (i can't point out what game atm, but i knew the song from somewhere)

i listened to her back then too, so i know what you mean. i got super excited when i saw that idol was hiring her. i think you have the current situation pretty much correct. though, the pill was a sleeping pill that she was prescribed. pretty sure it's a benzo and she really was taking them as a donation goal. i think it mostly just equated to her just taking a sleeping pill earlier than she normally would have, like during stream instead of after stream. i'm waiting to hear more from her though. regardless of what's true or not, i'm not going to judge her. i just hope she bounces back from this.

The members stream where she literally solicited for sexual encounters with members was still up when this happened. Also I'm a fan of Fuyo who expressed her support for management on a members' post and she was the one closest to Riro (they even did an IRL cooking collab)
It saddens me but it's nearly undeniable already.
@@sakiamira NDA only prevents her from sharing sensitive company secrets. It won't prevent her from proving her innocence by contesting the compensated dating or drug misuse allegation. The only possible hiccup is that compensated dating or drug use is actually allowed by the company and she's not allowed to say that. Even that is no problem; an NDA is void if it's to hide illegal activities.
I think there's two things being missed here. The first is that a lot of her original music is really depressing stuff. Her song Virtual includes lines like "how long are you gonna stare at me? Just one of your fantasies", and Magical Doomer not only references her alcoholism and depression, but talks about turning into a magical girl in a way that sounds like it's a desperate bid for attention. And this all with pedo bait imagery.
The other thing is, the manager in question already had a bit of a reputation as being a little off. And Riro got into the company outside of the regular application cycle. She was recruited separately.
So my speculation is that she didn't seduce the manager after joining. He saw her lolicon channel, decided to go after her, and pushed her into Idol in order to get access to his vulnerable messed up fantasy girl. Might explain why he was so rapidly yeeted out of the corp.
I think i believe well enough in this theory. People have pointed out that before getting into Idol it seemed like she was on the path to recovering, she had plans and ideas and things she wanted to do and she wanted to get better to do them. And i have firsthand experience with how a negative mental state can lead to certain... poor choices. (Not drugs, I'll make that one clear.)
That she got in outside of the application cycle practically all but confirms she had inside help, and there's obviously no better explanation than the dude who was in her pants. She probably was manipulated in, and if i know anything, it's that that manipulation doesnt just *stop* when she's in the company. That is a relationship that would NOT have been good for her.
She made some poor choices, sure- *incredibly* poor but given that context, I'm inclined to be on her side with this one. If there is anything I've learned from Dokibird and friend who was wrongfully terminated is that a LOT of vtuber agencies will throw a TON of BS into the termination to make it justified to make it seem justified. I will take half of what they said with a grain of salt.
