You can also do the jump with 36+ tumble and haste.
Do a tumble towards the border from a distance, and immediately jump as the animation takes effect. The jump keeps the tumble speed allowing for normally impossible jump distances
My group always groaned about doing Amber Temple because it was so random it scrambled our brains. Somehow I always managed to find the words by wandering around and it never really bothered me that much…
Finding the symbol before finishing the quest grants a large amount of optional XP. I think I saw 40K+ for the optional alone at cap.
8K on heroic.

Wife and I ran this recently. Hugging the wall will help her because short drow can't jump, without a potion.

Next quest they "fix" you will just enter... pull a lever and quest will be over. here is you exp and reward. Yeah, lets just dumb down every quest to a quick zerg... wtf were devs thinking! Its okay to have a quest or 2 have randomness.

if you kill the lich and destroy his phylacteries the barrier disappears.
IMO - if they had just removed the respawns in the quest it would have solved a lot of the issue for newer players running around lost.
The quest wasn't that complicated it just annoyed people to learn it with respawning crap constantly attacking you from stealth.
Also a way to disable the main chamber trap thing would have been nice. A small puzzle with 3-4 traps for a trap bonus would have been even better.
There is one. With instructions, even.
Anyone know if they will make a Lunar area to explore?

That build got nerfed into unplayability in 2021, but if it ever comes back, I'll let you know
This is my first time playing. Started for Wizard (Necromancer). Please tell me a website with builds, I want to summon skeletons and so on (I didn't find a video with you).
Unfortunately summoning builds aren't a thing in DDO so I don't have a build for you.

There is just the skeleton within your palemaster tree which the have made improvements to but that is about it
I glad they made this easier i can do it now. My IQ is 48

That's the price of progress.
Better than sucking up the cutscene...
If you do xp/min its more rewarding than going for the bonus (plus quicker now that you can do Reaper->Elite->Hard in 15 minutes)
