If you’d like to play again, I could show you this games version of the halo skulls. There’s a relic in the game that causes enemies to drop items. And another that allows you to choose what items drop.

honestly, it's impressive you got all the way to the end on your first run, even if it was on Drizzle difficulty. Not many people can admit to that (myself included). One tip I can give is that the final segment is all about speed. You can ignore most enemies, as the moon enemies will mostly focus on fighting the void reavers (the purple creatures that teleport in). Another tip I can give is avoiding the void reavers, as killing them creates an wind up to an explosion that will insta-kill you, if you're caught in it.
its not really impressive cause the enemies never got like above 6 levels higher than him, plus he got a lot of good stuff
@@GloryToStalinno it is still somewhat impressive. Given just how unforgiving the game is in general. Not saying it is hard but mistakes are definitely heavily punished. Plus many strong items would have not been unlocked yet
@@isaacdayton4962as a starter u have better items than someone who has all the items unlocked, it’s why people generally use the void dlc cause of the other good items included in it and most of the void items are good
actually, he isnt instakilled, more like permanently trapped
My main advice is crank the music volume to max and lower SFX volume a bit so you can listen to the amazing soundtrack

It seems you caught on quick with the stuff in this game. The drones are always a positive to have, if they go down you need to find where they went down and res them with money. Some maps have secret areas, just take your time with the game, it's the more you learn and play type of game makes you strong. Mountain shrine spawns extra extra boss.

Quick psa on the lunar coins: if you give one to a newt when you activate the next teleported it will spawn a blue portal which will take you to a in-between stage that’s a shop for more coins
I've been playing this so long and with so many mods I forgot how small the loot pool is when you start, and how much of the good shit is in that pool.
I'm so jealous, this guy was a beast for beating MithrX and on the first run too! The only tip I can think to give that I haven't seen recommended is the teleporter emits little red orbs in a large semi-sphere around itself. It isn't always clear but it's supposed to help you find it, the orbs don't hurt you either.

@@ZXFiendAfter like 400 hours in RoR 2, 30 in 1 and 64 in Returns, Commando was bad only in first game.
He is the character that teaches you how to play and tests you're abilities at the same time, his low dmg can be compensated with proc items pretty easly, learning grenades allows you to use bands when you want. He is not as bad as people make him out to be, but of course not even close to Railgunner, Loader and Bandit.
At leas he is best at proc items thanks to infinite ammo and high fire speed (also every character has proc chance his is 1, you can go higher, MulT has lower proc chance for example)
One advice I can give is to not run too far away from enemies, his dmg fall off on distance is pretty big for early game.
Great video! Here are some tips that might help you, on the purple map there's a platform bellow the "main terrain" where you can put some kind of code to unlock a portal, you can find this platform looking in the edges of the map or seraching some stone structores in circle form on the floor, the codes you can find pretty much in any map, they're like stone tablets with the corresponding simbles, its a little hard to find all of them by your own so you can see the codes online, each code opens a portal to an little area that has a little challenge for you to do, when you finish, you receive an artifact, artifacts stick with you forever once you grabed them, and they change the main game, most of them just make the game harder but some make it way easier like letting you choose your items, once you have this artifact, you can do something that will help you to improve quickly, when you get a orange item (equipment), choose the Trophy Hunter's Tricorn, its a little gun, when you go to the boss, take most of its life and when the boss is almost dying, use the equipment and you will receive one golden item from that kill, unfortunatly the gun will not work anymore after that, but you can do this as many times you want as long you have more then one equipment to take, then you can use one gun on one boss, go grab other gun and use it again on another boss (also, the bosses that spawn in the map count as well as the teleporter boss), if you dont know, the item you receive after killing an teleporter boss is mostly a green one, sometimes you receive a golden one, but its kinda rare, you had the luck to got it the first, when you get the item, I'd recommend you to not get the items that summon monsters to your team, because they're really dumb and most of the times will just serve as distraction, the items I recommend are the Titanic Knurl, Genesis Loop, Molten Perforator, Shatterspleen and planula, for me these are the best ones.
The Lunar coins are used in the blue stone things to summon a blue portal, one wich you summoned and just ignored completly lol, the portal lead you to a place where you can use these coins to buy lunar items, items that give you something good and something bad together, you can also trade your items to have one item of "better" rarity, and you can choose the next map to play, but if you go down on the void of this place, taking care, theres a little cave way down where there's a portal, this portal put you on another little map where you have to do another challenge, this one serves for you to farm items fast, but in the challenge the monsters that spawn there also get items between stages, so its a risk one.
Appreciate the detailed tips! Artifacts sound fun, excited to try them out. How I missed the blue portal I do not know but I didn't even see it, haha.
@@RipSnortGaming I just finished the game in hard mode with huntress, tô unlock her other skin, it was hard af to do this, being trying for a little time, in reality I was much more advanced in the game, had a few skins unlocked and pretty much everything, but the hd of my ps4 broke and I lost the save, now I have a ps4 pro and all the trophys of the game, but had to start It all over again 😭 So I'm trying to get where I was, hope I can help more sometimes and want to see more videos of the game.
My god i love this game! little tip for the printers and scrapper, you can turn items into scrap using the scrapper, which will take priority in being used in the printer, which turns one item of the same color into the same item inside the printer. (the white dagger printer was taking other white items). depending on the item or if you have some scrap, printers are super nice to see!
Casual god run on the first try
Got some really good early items, still though i died a ton when i first started playing, and didnt get anywhere near Mithrix.
Best tip I could give is find a balence between items and time, in a some cases just taking the teleporter and not full looting the stage can be a lot more beneficial, if you’re looking for improvement in your time management many people start with the 5 minute rule. Simple as just trying to only spend 5 minutes on each stage, its not necessary on lower difficulties but in Monsoon it’s really apparent when you’re playing catch up with the levels.
Quickest way to find teleporters is to look at the sparkling floating particles around the map, they're concentrated in one part. And the teleporter also plays its own music. Other than that, you did waaaaaay better than my first attempt.

U lose all your money when u leave a world and one of the characters u can get is taking the battery from the back of ur pod but u cant lose half life, and bring it to the hellish world, u also need 10 luner coins to get a character through the blue portal so technically u need 11. But anyways thought u should have a tip so u can make more episodes 😊

I'm kind of a pro at this game lol. That last stage you died at, the telaporter before that you can rotate to skip the boss fight to fight him later(or not at all). In that same stage, there us a "secret" that is under the map and you van unlock different things by doing the challenge it gives you. The thing is, you need a code you find in different maps. My favorite one I unlock by those challenges was the one you can choose your items, it's soo fun
In my opinion, the "5 minute rule" circulating around the tips here is a bit outdated, at least in terms of being a new player recommendation. In reality, as long as you are not literally standing in one spot doing absolutely nothing, there is not a wrong way to play the game. If playing 5 minutes per level works for you, then by all means keep at it, but dont be afraid to change up how you play in case you find a pace you enjoy more. Difficulty scaling actually goes up with each new stage as well as time, so going faster doesnt necessarily mean enemies will be easier.
A more recent take on pacing I agree with is "If you have as many items as there are minutes on the clock, you're at a good pace". For the early stages, I'd count drones there too. But do whatever works for you!
I'll play around and see what works for me. Good to know there's a few strats that can work for ool though. Anything would be better than my first time, haha
I wanted to yell at my TV when you ran by the blue orb. Lol entertaining video. I remember when I first started this game. It started out so slow. I didn’t like it and was mad, but I played it more and it really started to click. Now I have over a couple hundred hours into it.

look at what you need to do to unlock skills and items and attempt to complete the requirements as you may find you like certain items or abilities.

in my first run,i got on the second stage and got crushed by a beetle guard
Not sure if someone said this already yet. But there is reddish orange particles that come from the top of the teleporter so to find it easier just look for the particles floating around

I’m 3 months late, but the 4th stages always have a red/legendary item. For the one you did in this video pink mushrooms spawn near it, but I won’t spoil the ones in the other two stages.

OMG THIS GAME IS FREAKING AMAZING, I PLAY THIS ALL THE TIME TOO. I HAVE SO MANY HRS IN THIS IK WHERE ALL THE SECRET CHARACTERS ARE TOO, ENGINEER IS THE BEST CHARACTER. U should do this game with friends or play online
Also don't forget to stack items, the more u stack the better the item, I swear I can't wait for more of this game

@@RipSnortGaming I mainly try and get everything as possible but biggest suggestion is making sure to never use ur luner coins, and to check the whole map before leaving every item counts cause its always randomly generated everytime, and equipment drones never buy till u have a X item to use cuz then the drone is able to use it. Free slot kinda thing. If u plan to use the huntress next I suggest all speed and attack speed, she has a auto aim option to attack so makes it all easier
@@RipSnortGaming but the engineer is the best cuz I get turrets that gain the same items u collect, u gotta reset them Everytime so it add the new items added to the turrets

Also the world with the worm had a way to reset back to he beginning and on the edge theres a platform with a hidden portal for a item u can use during ur games

Mithrix doesn't give you you're items back. what happens is after he takes them he uses them and you have to do damage to him to get you're items back.
The teleporters have orange particles above them.

I dont see anyone mentioning that so here's my tip: Dont play on drizzle mode. It's too easy and you wont rly learn what the game is about. I never played drizzle and if I had I probably would have stopped playing.. What makes the game fun is it's difficulty.
My tip is to get some friends to play the game with you!

The game gets harder the longer you take, so it's best to only take 3-5min on the first 5 stages, you can take longer after that.
Although you are playing on easy so time doesn't really matter that much until you play on monsoon.
I understand why you believe that but this is not a good advice because every time you enter a new stage, the rate at which the difficulty scales increases. it is much better to try to get every chest on each stage even if it takes 10 minutes since you will have more loot and the difficulty will scale slower. Dont take too much time still
Yes the difficulty does increase per stage but the longer you take the faster that difficulty rises. Time makes you weaker. Play clever and stop being bad.

@@freedom_fightaI think playing clever is spending like 10 minutes on a stage getting the most value out of it, I haven't seen anyone get a good win streak on the hardest difficulty without doing that
@@a_cats I have over 1000 hours, finished the game 100s if not 1000s of times on monsoon and I have never spent more than 5min on the first few stages, I completely disagree with your statement. You sound like a person that has several hours in the game while playing on rainstorm.
