Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I adore both versions of Mystique, and they both have awesome aspects to them. Rebecca Romjin’s version was more ruthless, merciless, and cold. Jennifer Lawrence’s version was more empathetic, loving, but also very cunning and it showed the transition between the good Mystique and the evil Mystique. I love both and I will happily watch either play Mystique.
yes. i also think that the way that mystique was changed due to the events in days of future past is very great. i find it perfectly believable that they are the same person, just with different experiences.

Weird how this mystiques body looks closer to 90s era of female comic bodies rather than the super skinny unhealthy looking body (grey black widow) they give us regularly🤔🤔🤦♂️. Never the less great review russ

This marvel legends fox figures came out really great, hope they continue making them, i would love a days of future past wolverine. My deadpool and negasonic 2 pack came yesterday and i couldn't be happier.

Rebecca Romijn is hands-down the best mystique ever. And unlike Lawrence, she stayed in the blue make up. I mean, in the movie about prejudice, mystiques blue skin color was integral to her character. And that is one thing that Jennifer Lawrence just did not and doesn’t get.

Rebecca Romijn for me is definiely THE Mystique. She looked gorgeous, while the later version (by JL) visually looked like a shcool cosplay version.
Hasbro can do so much when they put in the effort. Look at that detail and sculpting on the body. If only they did this with all the Marvel legends

That's the figure of Mystique that I was wating for! I love it, Rebecca is the best! I don't need a head from Jennifer Lawrence.
The X-men marvel legend figures look better than the mcu legend figures. I wish they put this detail into mcu stuff
So, like, when Mystique turns into someone, she can also copy the clothes. What would happen if she turns into someone with a jacket and you try to take off the jacket? Would it come off? Would it be attached to her since it's a part of her skin? I ask cause when her and that guard were getting frisky in X2 in the bathroom stall, she was wearing a jacket and then it came off. Was it not a part of her? What about the dress? Wasn't he unzipping her dress but after she turned back the dress was a part of her so it disappeared? How does clothing work when she's transformed?
That's exactly what I've been wondering for years now and still can't find a logical answer. That and how can she have children.
Maybe it works as the body makes hair and nails but in a faster way, maybe the clothing become dead cells that she does not need to get back in her real form, it is like when she turns into a fat person, she is a shape shifter, she creates the xtra stuff on her appearance and dispose of that.
@@Lycano23 That would make so much scence as to why she looks all reptilian and "snake like" specially in her concept art, maybe when she changes back, her layers of clothing she takes off become layers of disposed dead skin, (like snakes)

Phillip Mendoza If I’m not mistaken, her clothes are actually made from the same stuff as nails and hair, so considering just what exactly she can shapeshift and how loose her clothes can get that’d make sense she could shed them off her.
Such a well done figure. I'm not interested in owning any of the Fox X-Men characters, but I feel like I need to get this one now just for the sheer artistry they put into it

What was hasbro thinking with these dung-bell joints for the head! I do appreciate the effort but hopefully they go back the hinge joint or make the dung-bell joint not so exposing. But i still prefer the hinge head joint for marvel legends.

Lawrence probably didn't do the make up for her health. even though I prefer the mystique we got in the original xmen trilogy it is a well documented fact that she actually got sick from the make up.

Jennifer Lawrence did have to do the body paint Mystique for First Class, until they figured out how to do a body suit that looked good for Apocalypse. I think they may have used a body suit for Days of Future Past, but I'm not 100% sure
Absolutely love this figure I couldn’t believe it at my local game shop on sale for £4.99 I totally had to buy it they often have things on sale lol and some are premium stuff I’m a collector so I got it bargain I still have it in my main display she was definitely the best mystique UNCANNY resemblance lol
I wish the hair line blended a little more. I also think a Wolverine claw hand, and fleshy Woman’s Head would have been great. It’s great. Should look cool with the Toybiz X2 Magneto figure.

Hasbro should stop giving these figures the dumbell neck joint. Its not getting as much range as the ball and hinge joint they use and the way they're engineering it gives the figures less head movement
