That hard freeze thats been happening after you load, or after a challenge has been screwing me over. More than once Ive come out of that freeze somehow spinning out, or ran into a tree. Man that crap is driving me insane.
I wonder if its a predetermined level 10 car, because they REALLY wanted you to have the Lambo in that game.

It is predetermined, your upgrade will always be the same one unless you change into something else.

Yeah, that lag thing definitely doesn’t (currently) happen on Series X. In fact gotta say that since the last lot of emergency fixes to resolve the disastrous issues from that first major patch the SX version has been pretty damn good.

Well that's good to hear, but whatever they have done to PC is driving me insane. lol That lag is insane, and it happens everywhere. Coming out of the Garage, out of a race, into a race in the eliminator. It is SUPER annoying.

That’s funny you also get the lagging right before it starts joining open racing or the eliminator. I have also noticed the same timeout bug where it starts to give you timeout even though you haven’t left the arena. It’s annoying how everyone is experiencing the same few bugs and Forza still hasn’t patched them. Hopefully soon

I think the biggest skill to helping people win the eliminator more is just simply map knowledge. Knowing where alot of the bigger obstacles are at like the rocks and cliff faces, or when coming across things like forests and rivers and finding the best paths to go through them or to outright avoid them if your car can't handle it

Watched your eliminator of you having the “brocky” and flipping in the last part of the race, figured id throw my first game of eliminator on in fh5, ended up winning using the rahal ford fiesta.

I had a race like that once. Got to the final race, just me and 1 other guy. I was still in my level 1 car and he was a 9. He ended up crashing like 3 times during the final race and I ended up winning in a level 1.
I don’t have the lag that you have and I’m on the series x . But awesome video and keep up the great content:)

The lag issue isn't just on PC. My xbox does the exact same shit
I think that "lag" at the head-to-head an anti-cheat technology. Whether it is or isn't, I've found that the delay is much lower on the Series X than on Windows. Maybe it's the console's super fast SSD, maybe it's because the Xbox doesn't have to run a bunch of apps like a full PC

Glad I’m not the only one getting the ol’ lag spike once you challenge, thought it was coz my pc is on the lower end of recommended specs. Really ruins the game mode for me tho 😔

For me, the lag only occurs when big pop up text appears on screen.
Heck, i even turned off my skills in order for it to stop and it worked.

I am on Xbox one s and I used get the lag at race starts, I think the patched it cause it hardly happens any more. I think it depends if the person to are racing against is on the same platform as you.

I actually once won racing a number 7 car with a number one car cuz he was a bit stuck with the trees at Teotihuacan at the start of the game and I took the opportunity to race him

This week, I've found that every time I upgrade, the arena timeout increases. Maybe that's just coincidence, but it looks like the same thing is happening to you. Once it assigns a timeout, it keeps bumping it on the car swap
I write software for a living, so any time I see anomalous behavior I try to figure it out or at least consider how I'd write it in a ticket

recently I got a bug with another player that we could not challenge each other or change cars, so we got into the final elimination with tier 2-3 cars and got 4th-5th without trying
If i spawned on a lvl 9 drop and then proceeded to loose to a beetle i would just turn off the game in shame and play something else XD

I got into a lobby and the first drop that a guy picked up, out of everyone, was an AMG PROJECT ONE WHAT THE HECK
That lag cost me 4 races last night... I'm so tired of even trying to play the Eliminator...
I keep getting dropped after losing connection or the lag spikes are so bad that when I challenge or get challenged the lag spike is nearly 5 seconds which is pretty much a game ender...

P.C. and old gen XBOX ONE are on the same build, the rest have separate builds. That's what's causing the lag issues. The time it takes to communicate between them all is the problem. Cross platforms always have connection issues, no matter what the game is. That and not everyone has the same speed Internet. It's here to stay for the foreseeable, I think.
I have a base model Xbox one that's running through a normal TV and never once had my game lagged mid eliminator lol
I am an Xbox player on Xbox one x and I can tell you I definitely get the lag and I would dare say even more than you I even have it hardwired with 1gig connection. I feel your pain lol

If I had been recording or made a video from my eliminator today I wouldve been able to show I picked up 2 level 10 cars in 2 separate games at the beginning. I literally was laughing and cussing so loud my neighbors thought I was fighting with someone.
