Very refreshing to watch a respectful exchange between the two parties. Please do more of these with guests who have substantive knowledge, are able to put aside petty insults and discuss a layer of depth on a topic beyond partisan talking points.

Why does the National Archives Department allow documents to even leave the Whitehouse in the first place? There should be an account for all documents at all times. WTF?
We have an over classification problem. There are powerful incentives to over classify.
It prevents openers and prevents agencies from sharing information.

An intelligent and productive conversation between two Senators from different parties gives me hope.
Whatever policies you specifically agree with or don’t, it is refreshing to see two politicians in high office actually discussing things with intelligence and some logic. We need more of this and less of the clowns in news. Shine the spot light and publicity on real conversation and not the clown shows. Also, in comparison with the current GOP rooster, Rubio is one of the smartest speakers there. Once again, besides if you agree or not with his specific political views, at least he is trying to speak logically. Big difference in comparison with the clowns in the GOp
Rubio is a robot and was exposed when he ran for president. He memorized 3-4 lines and just kept repeating them over and over regardless of the debate question. He is in office for one reason, he’s Cuban and has a lock on the Miami Cuban vote.
Shame on the GOP allowing their party to become a clown show for so many years. Rubio sounds almost like an intelligent human being here. How can you trust political officials who were so willing to put their judgement to the side to grovel before the pumpkin headed grifter for YEARS and put the nation through pain for YEARS because of their lack of a backbone.

Brennan is chief propagandist for the Intelligence agencies Warner and Rubio are pretending to want oversight on: Warner himself leaked a FISA application to the media to give cover to the Russia "Collusion" investigation; Rubio gave cover to the deep state over the bio-labs in Ukraine.

I’m quite pleased to see so many comments on here that say the exactly what I was going to… Our leaders should be reasonable and talk more about addressing issues without partisan rhetoric. Their discussions should be substantive and come from a place of experience, not gaslighting and playing the blame game. I hope all news media will promote this more.

So many honest people Living in pain on the streets of Los Angeles were children in red states who came to California because they could not see a future in their home town. I have lived my life at the end of the runaway trail. It is sad they are afraid of their own home town. Recently I started calling the homeless red state refugees. They tell me I see them and their predicament. I promised the homeless neighbors I would try to speak for them. Did you hear me? If they were given basic needs they will have a home. That includes pain relief. End the war on people in pain!
The question is, Why does Kevin McCarthy feel the need to visit Taiwan? I would like to see this committee put a formal process in place that assures those responsible for the archives even know that documents are missing. Apparently, there is some lack of Continuity and checks and balances over what has been taken out for review and returned. I’d like to see this committee beef that process up, so this doesn’t happen again.

I not sure but believe the documents were working documents to do the job, not checked out documents. I do think they can check out documents at the National Archive, but these were not. Even Trump who stoled classified (boxes, intent to take from WH to his property) are not checked out of the archive. The typical behavior is to return classified after out of the job or no longer need. Sure a few could be left and that needs regulation on how to handle classified. There are rules, but no teeth to put the fear of God for those to compile.
Deregulation is to blame. A republican value that has created disaster and chaos. Deregulaton created the Great Depression under republican leadership (Herbert Hoover), Savings & Loan Scandal under republican leadership - Bush Sr, but was the horrible actions of Reagan and 2008 recession brought by republican deregulation.

These Senators and the "Gang of Eight" do --- NOT --- need to actually see the Classified documents themselves (some of which are at the Top Secret/SCI and Top Secret/SAI levels). These Senators and Congress ONLY NEED TO KNOW the "level of those documents." Then, to use their legislative directives to CREATE NEW PROCEDURES to insure that these types of situations do not occur in the future (eg, Creating a special secure room in the White House where those documents can be secured and NEVER to leave that room, and have two NSA/DOJ officials there during their review by the President, Vice President, etc. Again, where those docs would NEVER leave that room under any circumstances). That could easily solve the problem. But having Warner and Rubio look through Top Secret documents and have them in their hands is a NO GO. I don't trust either of them. They're political and both have taken part in politicizing both intelligence and policy to the detriment of the American people.

Along with the Bill - All citiizens, perminant residents, native American indians, and people here in the U.S. on work visa's, will receive $450,000 in a lump sum after 120 months of full time work, part time and volunteer work included in the sum total. 2 months part time equals 1 month full time. This is a Grant, not a loan. Now the citizen or resident can start up a business if they want to, thereby serving their town and producing tax revenue for the country. The printing and issuance of money is validated by labor, production, goods or services for society. Also with the Bill - a limitation on total taxation of the citizen to 10% excluding social security and unemployment. No more than 4% federal income tax after deductions. LLC and corporate tax eliminated. No more than 3% state sales tax and/or state income tax. No more than 3% local taxes town/city/county combined. Homeowner property tax and the land it's on outlawed. Along with the Bill or a separate Bill - A mandate and requirement on U.S. Banks to pay their depositers at least 85% of all interest collected, according to the average monthly or quarterly account balance, because it is the depositers money that was loaned out to begin with. Along with the Bill or a separate Bill - An installation of price regulations on the medical industry, for usage of the Medicaid and Medicare card, resulting in a 85% to 99% decrease and reduction in healthcare costs across the board. Only participating hospitals and doctors offices in the program will be permitted to utilize the Medicaid and Medicare card. Now the taxpayer can afford to pay 100% of every one's medical Bills, and every citizen and resident can be issued a card.
