I used to work for the 19th FS back at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, my parents can hear us start up the jets 8 miles away. Now the only time we hear them at my parents' place is during Red Flag Alaska.
Recently i came back to my Mirage 2000 in DCS after a long pause. the new sound of the engine igniting was amazing. i see Razbam is going to continue amazing us with the coolest startup sounds there are!
This is gonna be one hell of an aircraft!! I’m so ready to fly this thing! I’ve already got it pre-ordered. It’s in the process of getting to the access stage

Now the Mirage is absolutely fantastic, the Harrier has always been one of my favorites, and seems to be really mature. The Mig-19 is awesome. I have no doubt that the Mud Hen will be spectacular too. Just bake it till its done. Then get me the Mig-23. That's the one I'm looking forward to the most.
Yes, this is correct with switches and everything. The next thing to do is slide the right throttle starting #2 engine. I know as I worked this aircraft. :) Great job!
Is the DCS module going to have the PW 220’s or the PW 229’s/EEP’s? I see some people saying it’ll have the GE 129’s but those are not on E’s for the USwe only have the PW motors for C and E’s. The GE F110’s went on export F-15’s and the Eagle II now
PW229 as those are only uprated engines for USAF F-15E's. Wise decision IMHO as pair of PW220 would significantly degrade performance across all envelope. Maybe in next few years they will add some export version which has GE129 but that would only add some more performance in limited portion of supersonic flight (between M1,2-1,8).
I used to have the same problem in my El Camino. The trick is to pump the gas all the way to the floor two times before you turn the key.
Same, but usually I would just break bad and that typically fixes the issue

I've heard this startup sequence probably over 10000 times. This took me back to the flightline like a scene in ratatouille lol
The audio drop around 0:20 - 0:21 seems weird though. Is it like that with the real thing?

Flawless sound quality only thing is on jfs acceleration they don’t pop like that unless your starting the jfs with one engine running already
