  • My custom water cooled build and I have a love and hate relationship. But in order to keep up productivity and not lose so much time with maintenance and other bugs, its time to move on to something SIMPLER. This is a fully air cooled gaming and productivity build that actually reuses a lot of the parts from the old PC in the new one.

Air cooling is so very much more practical.

That building sequence was awesome. It's literally PC building ASMR.

The guitar music with the lamenting at the beginning, felt like a time to stay awhile, and hear a tale.

That's why you use soft tubing for cooling. Hard is cool, but is horrible to disconnect and exchange stuff

Wow, a 1500W power supply seems a bit overkill hahaha

Man! When he was disassembling his rig and that music started to play, had me really emotional...! I felt like I'm saying goodbye to an old friend!

I have always stuck with aircooling. I buy the best of the best in aircooling and avoid watercooling at all costs. Why? Well less maintenance, less potentials parts to break, and it is cheeper. So win win on everything. And if you are not competitive OC air is more than enough to cool everything in the market

I honestly wouldn't say you're "privileged" for having a 2080 Ti or being able to keep some/all of the products a manufacturer sends you. It wasn't just given to you, you worked for it. Even if you didn't pay for it with your money, you created content to get that GPU, that was part of your payment. You helped build this channel, you create content for us, you helped people get into PCs. That's not privilege my friend.

This deserves an award for cinematography! It is spectacular. The lighting is so moody.

Got an alert and watched this the day you posted it. I really needed to see this as I have been contemplating going back to a full custom loop. The main reason I stopped was that it was a pain in the rear to do any maintenance or change anything out. I briefly forgot this and was about to drop some serious cash on a custom loop. You saved me a ton of money. Thank you!

This might be my favorite video from you guys in a while. As much as I liked the “Cool components” series, this is so much more down to earth and fun content, and it doesn’t feel like I’m being sold anything either. It’s nice to just relax to some chill PC building chatter and great editing. The audio was fantastic, loved that the music didn’t overpower the actual build noises, it really felt so much more real.

Dmitri always has that "positive surrender" vibe in his videos. I'm loving it more than the "hyped" presentation.

Water cooling has efficient cooling... but is inefficient in every other way. It's more work setting up, creates more clutter, more points that can go wrong, clogging or even leaking can happen. Especially if you plan on moving the computer between spaces. Very happy with my pure air cooled build.
