I love them I planted them on my farm because they are pretty
I like to spend the hardwood on the barn upgrade as I need goats milk for temple offerings. Then the scythe. Then the coop as I want quail eggs for the harvest festival. Axes and pickaxes can get useful assistance from bombs.
Makes sense! If you're trying to go Offerings and have enough hardwood, upgrading the barn def makes sense. I just like to go scythe/pickaxe first because it speeds up progression in diving/mines.

@BodinTheGreatGaming in the deep forest, I think you have to do 14 offerings to unlock it. There's 2 new tree types in there that you can chop down that give all hardwood and you can get seeds to plant on your farm :)
@@BodinTheGreatGaming the ones I have planted right in front of my sheds are one of the new trees
@@arkhamassassin13 I left out the 14 offerings since the mid forest opens up after 6 offerings and will give you a source of hardwood, but didn't know you could plant hardwood trees after the 14 offerings!
