At it's core I did. I think it still has some work to do to make it really stand out like Dome Keeper especially making the different weapons you unlock feel more unique so you can play doing different builds. Have you played Vampire Survivor or Dome Keeper before? Curious your opinion on those games.

@@ColourShyft Ahh yeah, it's very similar to those games which I guess would technically be repetitive because you do the same thing over and over again, trying to get further and further while experimenting with different builds.

Better late than never! 😊 Is it a solid idea to get animals ASAP? Trying to figure out the best way to set myself up for making money.

I believe it is better to get animals at least before winter so you can have something to eat for winter, other than walnuts, and get started on the pillars since you need gold animal products for one. You only get eggs for female hens though. You can't get eggs unless you have chicken coop. The pirate ships have exclusive items like paint and steel ingots; which you need for house upgrade and some crafting items. The house upgrade comes with an icebox so I put more priority on that in the Fall. Edit: Using the best fish lure during Summer in the lake by the Mine and Mayor house has the most expensive fish then for easy money. The eels sell well.

Def going to have to try that! I really am not a fan of the only rail option I've got thus far. Yeah I was shocked at how much easier he was this go around. Just wait till the next video, I make it back to the Hallowed Halls! Would def be fun! That said, at the moment, between recording & editing, I rarely have time to game solo let alone with friends. You're hired as my store manager! 😂 So I saw a mod that adds signs that I'm thinking about getting to help organize. So could have a sign over shelves that says "Sweets" or "Cleaning Supplies". It's going to take so much time to get things organized like that though 😅 WTF is a freezer used for then?! 😂

I'd recommend crafting a lot of easy items first before you try harder items. It'll take a while, but will make it much easier.

While this video is still somewhat relevant, the devs have basically scrapped a lot of the starter things like having 1 large town with homes for villagers. So sadly no way to build villagers homes at this point.

@@BodinTheGreatGaming Oh pfeww...I thought I was missing some part of the progress. So upgrade the starting town just unlocks new villagers? Or there is no point to upgrade that town and just find Bridgewater?

@@airyspaw Off the top of my head, I'm not 100% sure but it's always worthwhile to upgrade the towns you come across. There technically is not a Bridgewater anymore, it's been removed for smaller little towns on islands.
