Determine the horizontal and vertical components
of reaction at the pin A and the reaction on the beam at C.
Dude you are the bomb. I never would have gotten through statics without you.
thanks , ur videos are great and easy to understand
Excellent explanation... easy to follow.
Exceptional .....Continue doing the great job
may i know is it a two force member or three force member?
Hi.
In your calculation, why did you not include the reaction force produced by D?
Tshegofatso Kungoane i believe because it's a two force member, so the forces on c are equal to those on d
Thanks man a lot for ur effort
I think the answer for Ay is wrong. First, you have calculated Fy using clockwise positive. But at the end, you took counter-clockwise direction but you kept Fy positive.
Fy is positive because he took it to the left of the equation: Fy(1.5)=4kN(3)
Isn't Ax suppose to go towards the right? At the end of the video you mention the Ax still is towards the left.
Thank you veryyy muchhhh engr.
Hi I would like you to go over a question can I email you
Pour quelle raison la reaction D ninclu pa
no te entetendi ni vergas pero me resolviste el examen
Determine the tension in the cable and the
horizontal and vertical components of reaction of the pin A.
The pulley at D is frictionless and the cylinder weighs 80 lb.
Prob. 5-16
How to Know Vector Counterclockwise or Clockwise
You can just either choose counterclockwise or clockwise
Im doing the math for fsintheta=fy and it isnt 8kn its .1777778 F(45)=8kn F=8/45=.17778
