    This is where an outboard in a well or an auxillary outboard come into it's own.

    Pity there is no commentary on the methods used. Jury rudder seemed to. Work the best here. But little yacht sea state and course and boat configuration are all going to impact on each situation.

    I think with big waves this won't work, she would jump from side to side pushed by wave.

    Method #4? Call the tow boat and give them your credit card number.
