- In this car, the thermostat and the water distributor were replaced ( COOLANT FLANGE ), the sensor on the water distributor was moved to the new distributor, part of the antifreeze was recovered through the return hose and supplemented with G12 antifreeze and distilled water.
- Bei diesem Auto wurde das Thermostat und der Wasserverteiler getauscht, der Sensor am Wasserverteiler auf den neuen Verteiler verlegt, ein Teil des Frostschutzes über den Rücklaufschlauch zurückgewonnen und mit G12 Frostschutz und destilliertem Wasser ergänzt.

- I denne bilen ble termostaten og vannfordeleren byttet, sensoren på vannfordeleren ble flyttet til den nye fordeleren, en del av frostvæsken ble gjenvunnet gjennom returslangen og supplert med G12 frostvæske og destillert vann.
- In questa vettura sono stati sostituiti il termostato e il distributore dell'acqua, il sensore sul distributore dell'acqua è stato spostato sul nuovo distributore, parte dell'antigelo è stato recuperato attraverso il tubo di ritorno e integrato con antigelo G12 e acqua distillata.
- Dans cette voiture, le thermostat et le distributeur d'eau ont été remplacés, la sonde du distributeur d'eau a été déplacée vers le nouveau distributeur, une partie de l'antigel a été récupérée par le tuyau de retour et complétée par de l'antigel G12 et de l'eau distillée.

Fans not working ?? engine hot but how can you know that cause we only have water cooling informations ?? 🙏🙏
a broken thermostat means only 1 of 2 situations: Stuck on closed, the engine heats up very, very hard, situation 2 and the most common, stuck on open, the engine is always cold below 90 degrees Celsius

Great video man, my thermostat is stucked open and if it wasn't for your tutorial I would have gone to the mechanic, now it looks quite easy so i'll try to do it myself ! But since you had two repairs to do on the coolant system, wouldn't it be easier if you bled the system through the bottom of the radiator ?
I wanted to recover the antifreeze, that's why I didn't release it at the cap
@@AutoMotohowto46 Hello and thanks for the video. When you recovered the antifreeze agent, you waited how long until you turned the engine off? Until it reached 90*C on the clock? Or it's too late when it's that hot and it should be off earlier? Thanks!
@@cosmosin 90 is ok, it's important not to exceed 95', but I don't think it reaches 90 degrees and you've removed 5 liters
Hi how are you. i also have a 1.6 petrol SR mk4 jetta 2002 model. If you can please help me out my water bottle boils and the antifreeze rizes up and pushes the antifreeze out. What can that be can it be because of blocked pipes and the thermostat is not working properly please help me by giving me an answer i will appreciate it?

hello so i have a golf 4 car is overheating so i thought it was the fan switch because fan is not coming on so i changed the fan switch but the fan is still not kicking in but if u take a cord and put it into the lug that's connected to the fan switch the fan comes on
So need help if anyone could help
check the temperature bulb, which is on the radiator, I think, anyway, the bulb is to blame
i did change the 3pin bulb on the side of the radiator but still not coming on
@@akhielbhikram6198 did you try to make contact between the wires? the wires or the plug of the temperature bulb on the radiator
@@akhielbhikram6198 Have you tested your thermostat? If the thermostat does not close (E.g. due breaking of the cheap plastic mount the thermostat sits on) water is supplied throughout the cooler at all times. Especially in Coldy

@@AutoMotohowto46 i dont remember too. also If the hole is not at the top, the thermostat will be filled with air all the time and not open correctly
