- In this episode of Hermitcraft, PearlescentMoon takes care of the sniffers by building a new biome, but the attention for the cleaning lady is quickly dragged away to the 10's of THOUSANDS of dragon eggs!

Ok, from Pearl's perspective cleaning up Scarland seems like a good deal, a statue, office, and 32 diamonds a week from this point forward. While watching Doc's perspective it seems like Pearl is only getting paid 32 diamonds to clean up all the dragon eggs, so. he gave her the schematics to build a sweeper for the eggs.
Well done Pearl! You played both of them wonderfully!

She's not mad, just disappointed.
Eggsplanations*: Pearl had the original egg. Grian borrowed egg to dupe a couple for his collection. When Grian and Scar blew up Doc's tunnel borer, Grian gave an egg to Doc as an apology. Doc got the purple crown, baited Grian into blowing up Mumbo's door, to which Poultry Man and HoTGuY decided to egg Doc's hole with 10,000 (est.) chickens. Doc created an egg-duping machine using the egg Grian gave them, capable of creating 112,000*ish (aka many many) eggs per hour, and egged them right back, with Ren only assisting a little with placement of said eggs.
Edit: Grian had Zhed blow up a small bit of a wall in Doc's base for an egg-related quest, which caused Doc to bait Mumbo's door. Now I believe that's everything
Edit 2: Also forgot to mention Doc's witherhead prank on Scar from the tunnel borer incident.

Actually, Grian burned the original egg as a way to cover up the incident. The egg Pearl has is also a dupe.

This seems simpler to follow than the chaos that was the Season 6 prank war
I love how doc went from "Ya know I dont wanna snitch or anything" to "Yea so Ren was definitely involved in the duping but I know nothing" in a heartbeat as soon as Pearl got wind of something xD

That gets exponentially funnier when you remember that Doc is currently the oldest hermit on the server (IRL age), and Pearl is the second youngest, beaten only by geminitay. If anything, pearl should be the child, and Doc should be the mother. Wait...

The thing with the flying machine is that you shortened it to fit Scar's road. However by doing so, it reduced the contraption to much below the push limit, so a single block wouldn't stop it anymore (unless it's immovable like obsidian or a furnace).
This makes a lot of sense! I tested it in singleplayer and was able to stop it with a single block, so my brain automatically thought it could in the server too at that size. Definitely using a furnace in the future :')

Grian is around 30, Mumbo is 28, Gem and Pearl are 27, Xisuma is in his 30s, Scar is roughly 38 or 39, assuming he was a teenager when was diagnosed with his disorder. False is around 29, XB is in his 30s or 40s and definitely NOT 21 according to websites.
A certain pesky bird may have "borrowed" the original dragon egg and may have also given away one or two duped eggs to other hermits

Yea pearl, grian said that he wanted to 'poke the goat' he did that by flooding the perimeter with chickens. The dragon eggs is docs retaliation for the chickens, doc did rope ren to help distribute the eggs. And the reason Grian hasn't cleaned up his mess is that ANY falling entity causes grian to hard crash. Tldr grian, scar and now mumbo messed with doc and doc retaliated
And technically it all started with Grian and Scar blowing up Doc's amazing and OP tunnel boar, which still isn't repaired.
I think the reasonable peaceful outcome is that Grian and Scar build the same schematic as Doc, doing the easy parts that won't break the machine.
But remember docm dropped all the chickens in grians base so doc did two pranks to grians one
@@Direblade11A tunnel BOAR is probably more like a hoglin roaming around in a Nether tunnel, making you have a bad day. A tunnel BOER might be found in Sout Africa digging up diamonds, but a tunnel BORE is what Doc built and Scar and Grian blew up!😂

@@nicktrains2234 while true, it was only a fraction of the chickens they put in his perimeter, so it wasn't a full payback. In terms of the dragon eggs I feel scar got it worst, Grian second worst, and Mumbo least of all as he wasn't really involved in the chickening.

Ren placed the majority of the eggs (after Doc showed him how) -> Scar hires Pearl to clean them up -> Pearl spends unreasonable amounts of diamonds at Ren's shop

Gem is good, but let's not forget that we pretty much had even-resulting heads during pvp battles a couple of episodes back. There's plenty of firepower in the soup group to go around. ;)

Of course, the problem is that Pearl isn't really on a "side" of the Bore War, since both Grian and Doc have annoyed her by duping her egg.

Literally all of this would have been avoided if 1) Grian just finished the back of his base or 2) Zedaph finished Grian's storage

FYI for future reference... Placing 1 block is not enough to stop a flying machine unless either:
a) it is an immovable block (obsidian, terracotta, furnace, etc)
b) it causes the total number of block being pushed by a single piston to be more than 12 (the push limit)
That flying machine only had 8 blocks being pushed/pulled by each piston, so you would've had to place 5 more blocks in it's path to stop it. Pro tip: always place an immovable block at each end when working with flying machines.
A small correction: glazed terracotta is movable, it's just not sticky.

The alien landscape will never cease to amaze me. It's so drastically different from anything I've ever seen in minecraft. It feels like I'm watching a modded build anytime I see it.

So... here's the story of the duped dragon eggs.
Grian wanted to start collecting all of the rarest blocks, so he duped the dragon egg about 20 times and returned your original.
Grian would then give one of these eggs to Doc as an attempted apology.
Although Doc did not accept the apology, he did accept the dragon egg.
Meanwhile, Zedaph is trying to collect one of every item in the game, so came to Grian to obtain one of his dragon eggs.
Zedaph had a fun time doing a scavenger hunt for the egg that Grian gave him.
Doc, who is crazy with power, duped the dragon egg countless times with the help of Rendog, and together they both spread hundreds if not thousands of eggs in Grian's, Mumbo's, and Scar's bases.
Grian is also currently suffering from a glitch where falling blocks, including dragon eggs, makes him crash and close minecraft, so he is incapable of cleaning his own base.
You forget that Grian's "fun time" scavenger hunt involved blowing up part of Doc's base....
I didn't forget, I just didn't mention it because I'm not covering all the trolling between the two sides, I'm just covering the dragon egg duping and the mess made with the dragon eggs and who all has dragon eggs.
The forest looks amazing! So magical and colorful. Excited to see how it all comes together! ✨
Know that the forest is still in stage 1, but wanted to throw out there that it would be awesome to see some purple/violet ground cover/bush/fern type plants added in part 2! Feel like the purple would help tie all the extra bright colors into the rest of the base and give that "dark but lush" feel to the forest floor compared to the bright treetops above.

You know now that you have some extra eggs you could always build a part of you base that's like an alien nest (yes like from Alien). You'd still have the original, but it could be a cool way to use some of the eggs.
The original was destroyed by Grian with TNT. Every egg on the server now is a dupe.
If you don't want to use fences to keep the sniffers in place, use string and miss carpet above a hole so their AI won't walk over it
Or signs instead of strings.
The signs are ledd vulnerable to water.
Doc wanted to spare Scar's castle, but as he said, Rendog went absolutely ham on the entire place.
The girls, being the yongest, casualy and softly dominating the server and terrifying the older hermits is something i didnt know i needed, but now cant do without.
Its so good. Gem murders them and Pearl cleans up after them and shames them. I adore it
I know it's just the usual idle animations, but as Pearl was saying "How did the humans pass away in such peaceful land", I couldn't help but notice the firework in her hand slowly rising off the edge of the screen at 6:56

Grian was the one that first starting duping the eggs, so he's the catalyst for the entire thing.
As soon as I saw how pearl planned to block the flying machine I started panicking. Laughed when the inevitable happened

Any immovable block. A furnace is just as effective and doesn't take nearly as long to break when you're done.

The sniffers with their six legs and body shape remind me of tardigrades (water bears), though they have eight legs. The one you turned upside down with the "Dinnerbone" nametag then makes it look like it is walking upside down since they free float in the water column.
Only Pearl can make orange trees and make it look absolutely amazing!! Your base is gorgeous!

I am sure someone else has mentioned it but a block of obsidian would work in front of armour stands as that doesn’t get pushed. Great episode Pearl!
furnaces are cheaper and just as immovable, easier to remove too.

I think it is really interesting, that doc says, that Grian might duplicated the dragon egg ILLEGALLY, but try’s to talk it down, that he did it aswell not 20 times, but thousands of times… (but at least he is given „most“ of them back to pearl (I don’t know, how many doc still has))
Pearl! What stops a flying machine is putting too many blocks for the piston to push. If your flying machine doesn’t have that many blocks, one more won’t stop it!
A good solution would be putting a block pistons can never push, like obsidians, in the way. Like that, when the flying machine reaches it, the pistons won’t be able to keep pushing forward! :P
For future reference, use a non pushable block to stop the flying machine, like a furnace or obsidian block.
Pearl, I absolutley love your videos, you are amazing. One of the hallmarks of the hermits videos is that I wish they were longer. Beautiful tree home, you have a way with those blocks!

You need an imovable block like obsidian to the stop flying machine.
Protip: Flying machines are typically stopped with obsidian and other immovable blocks. With the flying machine used in this, a line of obsidian just above the ground will stop it.

So I´m not sure how much you know but Scar and Grian accidentally blew up Doc´s tunnel bore, leaving an apology gift to make amends (including a dragon egg). This wasnt enough so doc sent wither skull projectiles to hover over scarland and tricking Grian into accidentally blowing up Mumbos vault door. In return they flooded docs base with chickens, which doc partially returned...along with hiring ren to flood their bases with duped dragon eggs- Not to mention the buttercup camp or docs "butterflies"
For the pottery shop, you should make a giant leaf as well as other plants and call it pearls pot shop
Pearl + Doc interaction is one of the reasons I continue to love Hermitcraft. They may prank eachother, but they also help eachother out ❤

A bit of an understatement actually.
watching pearl's video here complete the pictures of the karma that of grian, he stole pearl's dragon egg, touch the goat with blowing up the redstone, sending the 10k chicken that broke the server (kinda), and now get pranked by the dragon eggs which are falling entities and causing him software crash. It comes full circle.

So now Pearl takes all the captured and recovered dragon eggs to create a fancy designed area in her colorful base to house them permanently! I mean you do love color and one of the great builders and designers that you are, I am sure you will get the “picture”! Or of course any cleaning services always needs to help fill in Grians rocks since you know he’s never going to finish his base anyways! So enjoy the thoughts or “payback” to the guys for tormenting the “Cleaning Lady” services!

I think the forest really adds a lot to your base! It fills up a space and is starting to bring the whole thing together as a proper alien ecosystem
any one else catch peal's probably unintended 5am pearl laugh upon hearing how many eggs doc had or war it just me imagining things
The egg duping started by Grian one day claiming to his audience that he got permission to dupe it, then stealing your egg & duping less than 1 stack of dragon eggs before putting one back where he stole the original from. He then gave 1 to Zedaph by having him complete a challenge that involved blowing up part of Docm's base. Then, Doc & Ren took it up 10000 notches by duping the dragon egg again, this time over 30 shulkerboxes of dragon eggs. The two of them then spammed the eggs all over Mumbo's base, Grian's base, & Scar's base. Grian also became softbanned from Hermitcraft due to falling blocks near him causing his Minecraft client to crash, & if I remember correctly, I think Docm has something to do with that. Regardless, I believe things got WAY out of hand when Doc & Ren duped dragon eggs & Grian began crashing when near falling blocks. Which side of this conflict you end up taking is up to you (if you even end up taking sides at all), but it's clear to me that at minimum, a second Hermitcraft Civil War is coming, & in order for the dragon egg to regain value, all of the eggs that Doc & Ren duped have to be destroyed.

Obsidian is your best friend for stopping a wayward flying machine. (or any immovable block, but obsidian is the first one that comes to mind.)
I love how smooth Scar was with his excuse when Pearl asked if he deserved the prank and then when she says she's gonna confiscate the eggs, he slips in that he's already got a stack stashed away.

Hey Pearlo! On stream I suggested using shroomlights for the orange trees, though you misunderstood that as the ochre froglights you were using: no biggie! Though the only pink light source i can think of is candles, alternative lights for the yellow trees are glowstone or hiding the light with honey blocks. You're the best, and the base looks awesome!!!
Thank you for chipping in Saint Pearl. I did feel they did go a bit overboard on Scar and I just so want his park to be finished. Thankfully Goaty proved to be a good sport and offer assistance. Can't wait to see Scar's new cookies.
Most redstoners seem to use obsidian blocks to stop flying machines (FYI for next time). The forest you built looks awesome. It's like permanent autumn where all the leaves have turned.
