thank you for making these programs for outbreak. i love them. i'm trying your outbreak editor to create changes in eliminations. do you know why the timer can't be changed in Elimination? for example i go to Elimination 1 and open up the EVB, i change this "E800000200000000F0D2000000000000" to a higher value which is the "scenario_timer". do you know why the time doesn't change when I edit it? is it possible to make elimination have a longer duration of time, or a shorter duration of time? i want to make it one hour long. and maybe make elimination 2 be 15 minutes long. can you help me understand how to change the timer?
I investigated, and for example, in the EVB file (r029.evb) of elimination1, it is defined as follows. Using the tool I created, it is possible to automatically analyze an EVB file and output it to a TEXT file. When output to a TEXT file, it will be output in the following format. address data 0000059C E800000200000000F0D2000000000000 000005AC E800000201000000D8BD000000000000 The $F0D2 part is 30 minutes in time. This is the time until game over. The $D8BD part is 27 minutes in time. This is the time until 3 minutes left (music changes) The calculation method is, for example, $D2F0 because the upper and lower bytes of $F0D2 are swapped. Converting this $D0F0 to a decimal number is 54000. 540000/30(frame) = 1800(sec) = 30(min). However, even after changing this time, it remained at 30 minutes. I think the time is probably specified using other data. I don't know how. If this is achieved with another MOD, such as Apocalypse Mod or TERROS Mod, I think it would be a good idea to ask the author. I have no contact with them. I asked them a question before and they ignored me, so I've stayed away from them ever since.
@@obsrvtest4380 thanks for helping look into it. i wonder how the time works in eliminations. are you familiar with speedrunning? its a method people play games in a fun manner to try and complete it as fast as possible. my goal is to transform eliminations into a speed run challenge where you have 15 minutes to quickly kill all the enemies to win. i'm sad that the time can't be changed for eliminations. now i wonder if those other two mods you mentioned know how to do it

Sorry for the late reply.
I'll investigate.
I will reply to you again.
I investigated, and for example, in the EVB file (r029.evb) of elimination1, it is defined as follows.
Using the tool I created, it is possible to automatically analyze an EVB file and output it to a TEXT file.
When output to a TEXT file, it will be output in the following format.
address data
0000059C E800000200000000F0D2000000000000
000005AC E800000201000000D8BD000000000000
The $F0D2 part is 30 minutes in time.
This is the time until game over.
The $D8BD part is 27 minutes in time.
This is the time until 3 minutes left (music changes)
The calculation method is, for example, $D2F0 because the upper and lower bytes of $F0D2 are swapped.
