So beautiful! The United States has become so wicked. We have replaced alters in our churches for stages. We have exchanged these beautiful hymns of praise for pop music. It makes my heart swell with gladness and thanks to know that other countries still maintain acceptable praise and REVERENCE for GOD. May the Lord Bless and protect each one of you and your loved ones! Thank you.

Thank you so much for this; there are no words. I grew up singing this every Sunday for Morning prayer in the Episcopalian church...almost 50years ago. With the congregation singing and the voices of the choir swelling, accompanied by a huge Victorian Era pipe organ. Your eyes would tear up and you would get goose bumps imagining the song rising higher and higher to God. Those days are gone here in the U.S. for the most part. We have worship bands and power points.
I am so happy that there is still somewhere in the world where the church is raising up awe inspiring, majestic hymns to worship the Lord in beauty and holiness. Absolutely wonderful! God Bless you my brothers and sisters. Please don't give in to powerpoints, Starbucks in the
lobby and wearing Christian tshirts to God's House, and I'm sure you will be blessed.

The first word that comes to mind, listening to this magnificient song is AWE. This choir sings so well, impressive and convincing , that automatically their singing turns into a powerful proclamation of the power and the glory of God. I can feel God's presence in this singing. It makes me feel humble and happy. Thank you for sharing this music with me.May the Lord bless you. XXX

De France . /.

These are long-held, cherished HYMNS OF THE WEST. Superb, solid theology. BUT, why employ this mode of music for today's India? Why not utilize Indian (LOCAL) hymns of the faith? Why do we need to continue to look to the West for inspiration? Why are we so lazy and short-sighted?
Why use hymns that contain English words that are hundreds of years old which are hardly understood by local Indians?
Why not use Indian instruments? Why the Western genre to worship God? Is Western music the ideal in Christendom?
I would be grateful if someone could address these questions.
May we reach Indians in the Indian way with Indian languages, in Indian culture and with authentic Indian music!

The Psalms of David were divinely inspired and so we render praise to God using the means he has provided when we sing psalms.
The modern hymns - some are based on psalms but some make no claim to be anything other than works of human composition - leaving an open door to doctrinal error coming into the churches.
