Participation of female voices is absolutely crucial as females = home and family are focus of what males shed their blood for in battle. Halleluya, this is what has made the world go round as long as the human race exists. Long live America.

AnAmericanPatriot. An amazing performance indeed. When sung with the true original lyrics. It’s wonderful to know that there is still reverence for our “Battle Hymn “. It was originality written “As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free”. As beautiful as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s rendition is, “let us live to make men free” takes away from what Julia Ward Howe wrote as a result of great inspiration.

As a 25+ year member of my church choir, and a trumpet player, I've both sung this, or a similar arrangement of Battle Hymn, and also played those great trumpet calls in it, and all I can say is WOW!!!!

This great battle hymn of the Apocalypse should be rendered in theatrical art forms. If the Lord gives me strength, i want to choreograph with Indian Classical choreography. we each have our responsibility to reverberate the Gospel message that Christ Our Savior, the Lamb of God and Prince and Peace is marching on.

Let's remember that this is a song promoting peace and justice. The "Battle Hymn" title was added by a publisher after the poem was written and misleads about the content.
Justice yes. Peace, not so much. This was written to be sung by Union soldiers, about fighting for an end to slavery.

Only one who has met with great persecution can be said to have mastered the Lotus Sutra. The great teachers of (Buddhims, esp. of the Lotus Sutra) T'ien-t'ai (Chinese scholor) and Dengyo (Japanese priest who conveyed this supreme sutra from China to Japan) would appear to have votaries of the Lotus Sutra, but they did not meet persecution as severe as the Buddha did in his lifetime. They encountered only minor opposition. Neither of them was persecuted by the ruler of the state, attacked by sward-brandishing multitudes, or abused by the entire nation.
(All the above persecutions should be the ones which the real votary of the Lotus Sutra is supposed to encounter because of the faithful belief and practice of the sutra. But these 2 great figures didn't undergo any harsh abuses. Why not? Because they were not the persons who appeared in the Latter Day of the Law when this truest teaching is to propagate. They were alive priot to the latter age and they did not experience any harsh persecutions like Nichiren and me (Miki).)
