I very much doubt that it will be given how important/desired this collab is to not just us as the community, but also to some of the devs themselves at BHVR, as well as how important Scott's characters are to him personally and how he wants them to be treated by others who handle them in the game making process :)

Do you think maybe they were waiting for a FNAF movie to come out to even consider a collab? Because usually killer collabs aren't with video games but with movie IPs (there is resident evil, but you could argue that there were RE movies even though they were vastly different from the games, or it could just be an exception because RE is too popular to miss out on it)
It is very possible actually that Scott wanted to wait until the movie came out, yes! He may have wanted to do the collab for a long time actually, but just had a plan to wait until the movie's release so that we could have specifically Josh Hutcherson as Mike, Elizabeth Lail as Vanessa, and Matthew Lillard as William Afton/Springtrap to be able to use THOSE iterations of the characters in game for voice line interactions and stuff like that rather than just have FNaF 3 Springtrap and some random night guard as a survivor! :)
@@HardlyHispanic that isnt happening, in the teaser the rights holder is Scott and only Scott, meaning the license we're getting is the one from the games. I personally Im glad we're getting the games version, movie storyline feels underdeveloped for the moment and isnt iconic enough to be put into DBD.

so 1. anniversary so they dont want to let down people just with some cometics 2. added from me, never in dbd life span if i am correct, some cosmetics didnt take a whole year, and guess what? most dbd DLC's took around one year to be made 3. so probably it's atleast going to be a killer, but usually taking this long means that a map could possibly be in play most probably but idk about surviver, cuz how could they for example put micheal afton when instead of film theres no reference other than a 2d purple rotten guy. 4. every company wants some profit and they dont need to hide it so i am not hating, but think at the possibilities of cosmetics for springtrap, cuz most probably its gonna be springtrap cuz he can have the most unique power out of all other fnaf characters other than maybe Golden Freddy but i dont think Behaviour interactive are thinking this deep, but just think for cosmetics it could have, scraptrap, glitchtrap, burntrap etc. Even it could maybe have cosmetics to be like legion like for example have a golden freddy, freddy fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy Etc cosmetics
I absolutely agree with all of your points, well said!! I honestly didn’t even THINK about the possibility of all of the OTHER Springtrap variants as skins other than the Movie Iteration, so thank you for bringing it to my attention cause I think it’s a great idea! :D
They could totally use the movie characters for the survivor(s). Considering they waited until the movie was out, it would definitely make sense for them to use Josh Hutcherson's Michael or perhaps even Elizabeth Lail's Vanessa as the survivors for the chapter.
Im interested in springtaps power since it can be a rush attack or a supernatural attack since he's capable of ghost like powers to hide and use the phantom animtronics to his benefit
I too am really interested to see what they do with his power! I really hope they lean into the idea of jumpscares somehow with the power given the game's history; it could really make for some actual scariness in DbD! :D
Oh absolutely, if they use the “I always come back” line in the mori or something like that I will be so freaking happy. Especially if they have a Yellow Rabbit skin, and they can get Matthew Lillard to do the voice :)
