    For those of us who need that extra guidance, could you also do a series on how to treat a man like a MAN !! Because for some of us, we never ever had that positive role model.
    As a grown up, we went to failed relationships after failed relationships n finally we are at a point where after decades of being in a horrifically toxic marriage, which sadly we did not even know it was toxic because that’s the environment our parents provided for us, and all the while we thought that was the SOCIETAL NORM !! Only to find out decades later we were in this narcissistic toxic marriage. We were trained by our mothers to behave just like them and that our role was to serve men. It was a generational thing. I don’t blame my mother really. She didn’t know better.
    But now I do. However I only keep hearing everyone telling us what not to do, but nobody really delves into what WE SHOULD DO !! Please help people like me. There are lots of people like me out there. Especially people who are of ethnic backgrounds.
    Thank you so very much for hearing me out. Today is my first day on your channel. 💖💖💖🙏🙏🙏

    I had to do exactly this recently. Call out what was unacceptable to me and not yield. I am exhausted of being the evolved voice of wisdom, giving guidance and wise counsel when I am not his mother to teach him right from wrong. He is a grown man and should have the discernment by now to know for himself without me having to point it out and make him aware of it. I cannot continue this way as my cup is empty. He will either have to grow up, catch up to match my level of frequency or we must then grow apart. I am not budging. The boundary has been set firm. And as you said, I am willing to risk it all. Thank you for this confirmation that I have done the correct thing.

    I never ended up babying a man or with a man baby. So, it's not the only option. Do not date a man who lives with his mother past college or is enmeshed with his mother to an unhealthy degree. Don't date a man who does not earn his own living and function as an adult. He should show generosity and some protective instincts towards you. In my opinion, he should pay for dates, especially the first ones. Wait three months of dating in person before having sex or committing to someone. In three months you see someone's real character. Generally, don't do more for him than seems reasonable. He has to be able to make reasonable decisions about important things like an adult most of the time.
    Many man babies are identifiable and avoidable. Learn what men should be doing in life, dating and relationships. Don't do that for him. You can't live his life for him or single-handedly make a relationship happen. If it's not there, it's not there.
    For those already in a relationship with a man baby, I don't know what to do about that. Sorry.

      @eenzaakvanliefde1969 Před 7 měsíci

      @@jamaica2010ism Jamaica, for me it is a journey to observe and experience what I see and experience with him. If I see things I specifically do not like (or do like) I ask myself the question: 'Where do I do the same?' There is always something that comes up of what I know I have to change in myself. That is the challenge: to have the opportunity to letting go of something unwanted that can be a trigger in our relationship. One of the lessons that I have learned, is that we never actually 'meet' another person: we meet ourselves in our relationships through behaviours, habits, patterns. Pointing fingers is to me always a way of saying: I want You to change, so I don't have to. By taking responsibility for my acknowledgement that I'm the one to 'see' or 'notice' things, I have changed. It's become more harmonious. And it's evolving. ♥️ It does help that we are on the same path, and that have the same background and the desire to work on our relationship. And that we know each other for quite a few years. 'Where do I do the same, and how to change it' that's my key question. And believe me, we have loads in common. And the best thing ever: He is changing too, without me talking a lot about it: just subtle changes in how to approach things.
      I hope I have given you a bit of an answer. 😉

So I'm very proud of myself for sticking to that decision untill I find the one who is compatible with me. But so far I still attract feminine guys. Or baby boys. Or irresponsible/ lazy/ passive men.Or guys not knowing what they want and seemingly scared of me. I know I'm a powerful and fearless woman, I'm very different, I'm tall, I'm mixed I'm strong and I'm super independent. I can provide for myself. I do whatever I want, I travel often and I have a very particular life very involved in meditation practice. But I crave for a protector, someone I feel safe and feminine with. Someone I can be vulnerable with. But for some reason it seems that whatever effort I put to make my feminine flourish, I attract the opposite of what I want. And it's not because I hide my vulnerability. I'm making efforts in being authentic stating my needs and sharing and owning my feelings instead of nagging. At this point I'm a bit desperate and I'm now thinking that's it's too late, what I vibrate never gonna change and meeting this kind of men makes me feel resentful towards men in general and that sucks....

    I don't mean to be funny, but how could we possibly find men who are not babies? I can't name one that I know, who isn't a baby in one way or another. Emotionally, or lazy around the house, sexually, mentally.
    Also I don't understand how expecting a man to be kind and good with the family is to be feminine. That is promoting ridiculous masculinity which they are often obsessed with and damaging families over it

      I respect your point of view, however I never imply what are you referring.
