I wish some youngsters followed in his footsteps. Sad to say but this beautiful culture is dying, the quality of music is not the same and personally, the new music is not enjoyable. I will always come back to listen to this legend, since i grew up listening to him, I willl grow my kids up with his music playing in the background. Its not a backward way of thinking, its an appreciation of talent and isai. 🤩🤗
what a singer - This is a world class performance. To all those in SA - please preserve the Tamil language. As an expat living in NZ - I appreciate the language even more although I am hindi speaking and recently I pray and sing in Tamil. Well done Pooven Moodley.
Simply amazing....one of the best Tamil bands or the "greatest" ever. Proud to say my dad, G Morgan, plays the accordion on this recording, as well other Kentone recordings. My late uncle, Michael Moodley on keyboards. My late uncle, Ronnie Naidoo, also played drums for Kentone for a couple of years.

S.V Govender is the best SA born Tamil singer of all times. Never missed a life show with my parents. My uncle played in the band .

I left SA in 1976 aged 13 years and I live in the UK. I simply love the old Tamil songs and very proud to listen to it.

Good to see South African Tamils using the caste name as their last name, happy to say I belong to Govender caste as well, but we spell it as Goundar
