love this guide my game downloading been waiting ages to play did have installed on my laptop but it broke so I braught a desktop set up. performs better got like an hour left

You forgot to mention to use quick assigned troop numbers. Select a unit press ctrl+numeric value 1-9 to assign. Very important tactic imho.

Oh, if there was one feature I would LOVED to have on games. Let me move the minimap.
Personally I prefer the minimap at the right down corner because it is the easiest for me to look fast, and personally I have realy hard time looking fast to the left upper corner. (Few games I don't play have minimap on left upper corner, and that is the only reason.)
Do you ever plan on doing a run down on all the specific factions?

If I want to focus on the single player mode in this game am I better to go for CoH 1 or 2?
Still wish this game wasn't so brutal getting past that early skillcap to actually be a functional player is crazy
all I can say is the bot is quite unfair....even you put it at normal difficulty

@@ringzy they usually rush into your territory when you least expect it, I can understand why it may be difficult to handle them or why they seem unfair to go against
easy and normal bots dont retrear out of MG fire. Just put 3 HMGs around their Base and build up
Bots are a fucking joke. The only thing annoying about them, is them cutting of your territory all the time

Everyone's always making videos about the basic mechanics of games, but no one ever makes a video of how to actually WIN the game. What I'd want to see are the actual tactics and the "correct" order in which to build things at the start of the game, and what the enemy will try to do and how you counter that.
It's too complex that's why. The amount of variations and possibilities are endless, you'd be forever countering your own arguments. This is a beginners guide, sounds like you're looking for intermediate or advanced, but you'd almost need a guide for every unit and every situation. There are some dedicated COH2 channels out there, but they also patch the game every 3-4 months with big balance changes.
Good guide. I don't play multiplayer because I know I'll get stomped as I can't even beat the AI on hard. Hope you do the factions and their various openings. Thanks, man!

is company of heroes 2 compatible with company of heroes? I wondered why I had desert skins for vehicles but don't see any desert campaigns in company of heroes 2. I'm confused.
I have a problem when I play coh2 I unlocked the building that you can get heavy tanks but there are no heavy tanks I can’t get anything

so i am still kinda new to coh2 i started playing like few months ago and like how to unlock other vichles for factions like for the ussr i want to use the tank that has the squar like head but i cant use it so how do i use it in multiplayer?

Pretty much covered it. Dunno how you'll cover the factions since the balancing of the game is quite horrendous and fluctuates like crazy.
Guess this is good for people that aren't interested in the campaign.
+Hat21 Well I feel the game has been pretty well balanced lately, just in my experiences anyway, I'm no hardcore stat tracker, but I feel everythings at least got a counter to it.
The balancing is warped because of the various player modes, 1v1, 2v2, etc. OKW the "late game giant" is able to match SU man for man and usually is able to bring out high quality tanks quite early on in gamemodes other than 1v1. The US and OKW really throw off balance and so have quite a few rules attached to them in tourneys.
+Hat21 Yeah I can see why that might be valid. Lately over the xmas period I played many 2v2,3v3,4v4 games and would win some and lose some but never felt the enemy were OP, I only played as British, and beat players with max rank and small ranks etc. I was pleasantly suprised by the last couple months of gameplay. Haven't tried 1v1's in a long time though.
+Hat21 only okw is a problem. They made the British tank car a bit better again in latest update.

Played this game since alpha and quit a few months ago; are German tanks still ridiculously powerful, with conscript molotovs still being nerfed to the ground?
German tanks are not op, simply u gave them time to make them
+Snarfindorf German tanks are really powerful, but you have many ways of dealing with them. AT guns and Piats being the best way to go about it.
