No, my life was NOT an adventure as a child, it was hell with an abusive alcoholic father. I found some joy when I was by myself. Later in life much more being I am a recording artist (singer songwriter) and primarily a singing teacher (LOVE helping my students)now but still doing concerts. Songwriting and singing is my greatest joy but it can't be done ALLLLL the time, thus childhood issues even though I have had an enormous amount of self grother work still pops up. Financial issues like we had in childhood (especially in this economy) are a super challenge.

My understanding is you can't escape the law of karma but there are reasons. I hear people tossing around the concepts of poverty, victim mind sets but there is only truth in the light. Sure sometimes you can acciently step on another's foot but that is way different than stomping on someone's foot isn't there. Saying oops I'm sorry and meaning it is growth. Feeling guilt, regret or shame can lead to growth but in this world we have sociopaths and narcissists that stomp all over you and blame you for it lol. Those are the ones held in the darkness. That being said I see people in poverty and sickness not taking the right steps to ease their suffering. I try to save the world everyday as I try to save mine. Yesterday I noticed people on the other side of the world in extreme heat and humidity using water coolers that increase humidity when what they need is dehumidifiers since dry heat is more comfortable that wet heat. Truth is the rich have few survival skills if they can't pick it up from the market lol.
All karma does is redress the balance if actions/words have created an imbalance x
