- with the new mod 20, we get a new dungeon, the vault of stars. It has 3 unique bosses with different mechanics to learn on each. As a tanks it is our duty to know how to control our enemies and hold their attention so our allies and safely deal damage to them. In this video i go over everything you should know as a tank to easily complete this dungeon.

Great explanation of the mechanics! The first boss is definitely a gate keeper of this dungeon.
just to mention, if u tank the 2nd boss in the middle and run to different directions (tank to the entrance, rest to the exit of the arena) only the tank has an ice-area spawning under himself. everyone gets the indicator but if u are far enough away from the tank it will not spawn.

Good video. Im fighter tank. I hava pala aswell. Enforced threat seems like the best maybe for fighter. Since we are mele based :D

@@Brooklyn-swag Yes, I mean on 3 boss. For range threat, We have enforced threat. Shield throw for they who have the threat feat. so it works for us aswell

good clear instructions,i always get confused tho where the boss will go if he teleports to the corner and i end up looking around a lot and sometimes confusing myself.

Any tips on avoiding DPS killing themselves on the final boss? I have tanked it for 20 times now and its pretty hard to keep all dps alive without 50k+ cleric healer.
Thinking about doing HC but not sure if I need to move the boss faster or just need to have the dps on VC and ask them to stop dpsing when phase changes.
I get the 1/2 1/3 1/4 hp the boss changes but when the dps is high enough it usually gets delayed.
They just have to learn when to stop hitting the boss. Voice chat helps.
Nice video. How are you removing the lingering spores debuff (the slow) on the first boss? It's tough to prevent the mechanics when you can't move fast
I'm not removing it, I'm just not obtaining it in the first place
Thanks for the reply. We don't seem to be able to drop the mushrooms without getting it. Guess we'll need to try harder. We've finished the dungeon, but we always have 10 stacks of corrupted soil on that boss.
Also, what companions do you have slotted for VoS? Are you using the new one? (Elandril might be its name).
I haven't been using it, no, but it's decent against the mobs, not sure on bosses
I know its late asking by now, but what item level would you think can tank this? I just got to 36k after barely getting the mythic mount eclipse lion.
You could tank it at 45k IL, but make sure you got as much defensive stats as you can
I know its a stupid question, but what companion do you suggest for a dps? (Which is not xuna lol)
I'm not sure atm. You could run one that does damage or you could run an augment. I'll make a vid on it in the near future

I’m really struggling to get my awareness up, at the moment at 49% with no proc, all R15 on companion gear. Any tips? Really struggling to get it up 🙈
Look for a mount with omnipotence, use lightwine and the guild food that gives awareness, plus there's a few artifacts like the chicken ring. And maybe switch to a guild with the awareness boon
Oh and the chain of scales from Chult gives an awareness bonus

@@Aragon- Thank you, I get distracted with all the other abilities going off too easily haha.
@@Aragon- After some extra testing it is unavoidable as often times the mushrooms are summed on me, then he teleports and does his red beam, nothing I can do to counter.
@@BattlebornReapers make sure your allies are close to you, and not on the other side of the arena, thats on them

What's the best way to keep aggro from the dps that does dmge n steals aggro as a Fighter Tank
By using a hard taunt and taking it back, as a paladin we can use smite, fighters will have a bit more trouble if they loose it and their hard taunt is on cooldown

as a fighter tank i don't use brazen slash, i cannot remember the first 2 at wills because i do not use them personally. i use the shield hits where both of them give me threat. i also use diamond pin artifact set. the dread warrior also gives enforced threat. my damage is above 5K and outgoing damage is 6%. i had to juggle some artifacts and other things around to get my damage this high. the highest item level does not mean is is BIS. watch your stats as you change equipment. this is the way.
Any way to identify the boss easier? With him teleporting every five seconds and camouflaging into the general aesthetics it's too demanding to keep focus on him without any indicator what so ever. Mobs have their name and health following them and are easy to track but he doesn't and is the same colour as everything behind him so it's a bit silly in my opinion.
Yeah it's a bit hard, but gets easier with practice, otherwise I'm not sure what you could do to make it easier. Lowering your graphics definitely makes it easier in general to define things, just keep your character detail and world detail distances up
What skill pulls all mobs together at 1:21 ?

I believe you are referring to the Vortex from the legendary carpet
What weapon emchatment have you settled on? Please say vorpal lol
For a tank, Lightning for mobs and bronzewood for most boss fights. Vorpal will do just grand, weapon enchants aren't a very important thing for us tanks

WTF happened at 8:11 ? the red aoe was just on the floor not even exploded, and ppl got frozen? bug? look frame by frame

doable, I made 2 runs with a OP heal, it was really hard but not impossible

Nice tanking and video. As for the dungeon mechanic probably the worst dungeon design i have ever seen.
Unless you do it a lot of times there is no way to figure out the mechanics no cues to guide you.
Overcomplicated and too much stress on the tank.Not a good dungeon.
I personally like it, sure if you go in blind it might take you a while to figure out what to do. I took me and my frineds over 3 hours on our first try going in blind
