Great review, I didn't get the first release of Falcon Cap so I am glad to get this version. He will look great on the shelf.
Its a shame we got the same figure from like 8 years ago.
I'm glad you posted this because I just decided to... KEEP my preorder! I was in the 'one figure per character' phase when this first released, and now I'm in the 'anyone who's ever touched a Cap shield goes in this display' so I'm glad they reissued and improved this guy.
One thing I noticed is that he looks accurately older in the face than the modern Falcon figure we have. Excited to get this in!
I wish they had given Sam a new head sculpt. Given the design of the shield, this is from his Captain America: Symbol of Truth comic run which started in 2022 and Sam is rocking a goatee the whole time in that series
Disappointing that it's just a reissue smh. Falcon Cap deserves better. He should've came with wings in the first place so that's not a good enough excuse. New face and pinless joints would've went a long way.
He looks great, so glad the paint apps are good and no missing boot paint haha, can’t wait for him to make his final journey to me 🦅🇺🇸

3:13 Previous Sam also has extra hits of deco on the elbow hinges; they don't paint those parts on most of their newer releases. But the new one has red forearm pins that match the gauntlets. 11:07 I think they should change the C clip to an upside-down L shaped handle.
Was hoping for more new stuff with this one, might gamble for a sale on this one

I had that 3 pack Falcon Cap! Can’t remember what I did with Kate Bishop and Vision I think I sold them
I prefer THIS version of Sam Cap than the one from F/WS, this one has the Appropriate amount of RED, his gloves, boots and Wings are all Red, as they should be like in the comics. The F/WS one has too much Blue.
Dan had a white background, and he wanted to paint it black, no colors anymore. He wanted it all to turn black 😜
...pinless joints and additional hands and head would have made this a must have.
I don't like this face sculpt; they did Black character's figures dirty early on. Every Black character had the same Tootsie Roll skin color, in plastic or paint. Why didn't they give his lips some shading? This is particularly frustrating because it means we won't see any updated Falcon stuff with a new face sculpt for a while, cause Hasbro still doesn't put out a lot of characters of color. They cheated us out of Robbie Reyes with their ridiculous prices.
If people bought them more Hasbro would make more, this is not charity, blame people for only wanting spider man and iron man figures...Also, the fact that Falcon and the Winter Soldier was a bad show doesn't help the popularity of the character....tell Marvel to stop the "woke" thing and start making good movies again.🤣

They definitely could have done better. Hasbro just couldn’t resist the urge to cash out on the same body mold again.
It’ll be a couple of years if not a decade before we get a truly definitive mold.

Great video, I was hoping it was pinless or at least a newer head sculpt. The old figure is great and still hold up since back in the Toys R Us days and I still have mine, but again I'm looking forward for the upgrade one coming soon.
He could've at least came with Redwing since, the retro version didn't. So far, the only Falcon to actually come packaged with Redwing is the 3.75 inch version.

Just a reissue of an old figure.. It's so old, it's basically a different scale. Jeez. I have the previous one and he's too short and has very limited articulation compared to newer figures.
Falcon deserves better... I don't care much for Falcap but I'm a huge fan of Falcon.
Maybe hopefully they'll give us soon a figure of Falcon in his classic costume with the short wings under his arms. That's THE Falcon to me.
