My daughter read Girl, Wash your Face and she said it was NOT a Christian based book. She said it was sprinkled with Bible verses and all but the self centered values pushed in the book were not faith based. It was given to her by a New Age acquaintance and I just thought I would share this with you. I personally, have not read it. But the C.S. Lewis books are fabulous. I agree with you. Can't go wrong with him.❤️

I have anxiety & depression , and I hide it for years before I reached out for help. I thought as a Christian I can’t possibly be battling this. But come to find out that is so not true. God can use this for His glory! Anxious for Nothing a great read! Another book that is helpful is New light on Depression by David B. Biebel and Harold G. Koenig. It’s biblically sound and medically reliable.
