Martin D-28 Custom Shop Authentic 1937

- This one is a 2021 Martin D-28 Custom Shop Authentic 1937. This is the non aged version which I prefer. It has no VTS on the top. It's Red Spruce over Indian Rosewood. This is one of my favorite newer Martins to come out since the D-28 Authentic 1931 came out in 2013!

Perfect! I am really loving how balanced the overtones of these CS 37s sound, none of that usual rosewood wash-out which is awesome!
I have the Stage 1 Aging version of this model. Pretty amazing guitar!

Great playing as always! Question: for the ones Martin is calling "Authentic Aged 1937" that guitar center sells with madagascar rosewood, is that the one you refer to when you say you prefer this one in this video? Do you know if that other model has an adjustable truss rod?
That other model doesn't have an adjustable truss rod. Pretty much shave the saddle or have the neck reset if you want any adjustments. The saddles are glue in so most luthiers just shave down the tops and re intonate.
@@RockinB23 Great to know, thank you so much! I'll be on the lookout for the CAAs vs. the AAs that GC sells, as I'd rather have the security of being able to adjust the truss rod vs. having to do something more invasive. Thx again!
