That’s a 20K house where I’m from.
That's looks like a crappy drug den
50k where I’m from
You & me both!
In the right hood you could get that for 25 cents in detroit
It's a $20k life where you live.
"In silicon valley"
Last words matter ok
I love how she lowkey whispers it too
Well, she is Silicon Valley Girl
I have an idea just move to a remote area where you can get a villa for that 1.5 mio
It had to be the Bay Area with the super high house cost and homeless people outside
There’s a sucker born every day
And people wonder why there are RV's everywhere. Those are people's houses.
No way 😂
Yep. People live in those RVs. Sometimes even local school teachers
Thank you for explaining
I thought they were people's holiday rv's
And they live in RVs because actual Californian-born residents have been completely priced out of their homes, by people like this woman. This neighborhood she's broadcasting online used to be beautiful, but everyone came to this area, ravaged it and left it a mess. She's not a spokesperson for Silicon Valley and is certainly not a spokesperson for our neighborhoods here.
Exactly!

For 1.5 million I presume the crack is included
No wonder why it’s on sale for $1.5m. It probably has a meth lab and boxes of coke down there.
There's an RV parked outside
Maybe Pinkman is somewhere nearby
heisenberg lived there once
it should only cost 2,000
It’s honestly how ridiculously accurate California stereotypes are. I genuinely didn’t think it was this bad.
It’s not
As a Californian, this is so true. I was like “dang this house looks pretty big,” but then she starts to complain about every little thing.
Yeah it’s definitely not like this all over California. If you actually look at houses in Sacramento, a $1.5 mil house can get you a really nice house unlike this crappy looking tiny house lol
@@chasemarquez7620 bruh $1,500,000 for that kind of house. That much money in most of the US would get you a mansion
how? you can get a HUGE house for 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS any where else.😐
With that budget in lebanon , i could buy 3 villas with 2 floors and live like paradise
Except you can’t get a mortgage in lebanon🥲
This is the reason why so many people bounced from Cali during the pandemic to work remote. Nobody should have to live in a place like that making all that money. I would have went straight to the rv dealership.
The house is really okey I would say it's even nice. The problem is that no one should be forced to pay such ridiculous amounts of money for that kind of house.
We need controls in real estate prices
Yep I am leaving this place. Gone soon. Yay
1.5 million gets me a mansion over looking a golf course where i live.

I live in the Bay Area as well. I can tell you that a house like that will need to be purchased “100% cash” as the property is basically a tear down. No mortgage lender will approve financing when there are health and safety issues present with the house. The value of the home/site is still about $1.5M due to the value of the land in that location.
If $1.5M is their maximum purchase price, they can still find a home in the Bay Area, but Los Altos (where they live) and the surrounding area is out of the question.
For that amount of money, you can get a nice 2 floor 4bd/3br house here in suburban Orlando or Tampa, plus a new Ferrari or Porsche, whichever you prefer. Oh.. and keep more of your paycheck (no state income tax and 6th lowest effective overall state tax in the entire US)
Yes but many jobs in Silicon Vallry increase stock and income very quickly so it can be worth it to stay, even with high COL and taxes, depending on your goals and position.
You can buy a castle in Texas, plus 2 Maseratis...😂😂
when is $1.5m ever considered 'on a budget'
When it gets you a 1200 sq ft run-down crack house in an unideal location
When you’re looking for acreage, or you know. In small regions of California.
Well a budget can be any amount of money- for example: you could have a budget of 10 million but it is still your budget and your probably not willing to spend more then that.
It’s not in Ca a 1.5m house is extremely nice
California
When i saw she got approved for $1.5M, i was ready to see a really nice house.... Turns out, $1.5M gets you a basic California house and a lifetime of debt.
If you buying in the Bay yes . 650k can get you a decent 2-3 bedroom in my area
Is that even a house in first place..lol
I’m my area in California, housing is $250K+ with 2-3 bedroom and a decent backyard and sometimes if you’re lucky a pool.
Sad part is, That’s definitely far below a “basic” house lol
@@hazeale5979 you know what’s crazy the state I live in houses that cost in the range you just mentioned isn’t even decent they’re above average so the fact people paying that much for something that’s decent is mind blowing to me

That is weird because I plugged California into just one housing site and came up with 84.202 homes under 1 million dollars.
California broadly and Silicon Valley are different. Median house price in San Jose is I believe 1 million or a little higher. You can go farther out and find things and I know a lot of people who commute 2 hours to work here because of housing prices.
So yes you can find something for less in a place like Gilroy, but not in Mountain View or Cupertino.
This is silicon valley, not the entire state.
You can earn a lot of money in the San Jose area, that justifies the high price

Lol why does it matter if it’s single or multi story? A 2 story house isn’t more expensive or necessarily more desirable.
Silicon Valley has an outrageous housing market. You couldn’t pay me to live in that house.
In California, single story houses are more expensive because they take up more land. The house is basically an accessory to the property value. The prices vary wildly in her area of Santa Clara/San Mateo County.
@@NotJessH
