If u use hot glue does it affect the weight of balance of the ornithopeter
To be honest, i think hot glue maybe, just maybe could work, but if he is using super glue, i would recomend using superglue

Where did you get the metal pieces.
He probably used paper clips and bent them with pliers. I actually made my first functional ornithopter out of paper clips and string

This bird was not strong use strong wood like balsa wood
