19.11.20 - okay review there dog, after seeing your review I'm getting a DLM811 tomorrow. Makita are having a massive sale tomorrow at Mitre 10 and I'm thinking the 811 will have ample brightness for down in my gemstones mine.

It's not weatherproof. Makita advise you to not use it in damp conditions.

The makita dml812 it has 4 modes hold down the mode button and it will flash strop
