Paul Lowe #23 from Compton CA.
    Los Angeles Chargers 1960
First season ever in Chargers history was at the L.A.Coliseum finishing with a 10-4 record and made it to the Championship game vs the Houston Oilers.
The true meaning of the name is a War Battle Horse Charging into Battle.
The Chargers name and logo was created and originated in L.A. 1959/1960. My videos explain the History.
Let’s Go Los Angeles battle Chargers!

    Al Davis copied the 1960
Los Angeles Chargers SHIELD Horse logo.
Al Davis was part of the coaching staff the L.A.Chargers birth year 1960-1962.
Al Davis then left the L.A.Chargers coaching staff 1963 to the Oakland born Raiders to become the Manager of the Oakland Raiders in 1963.
Obviously Al Davis copied the L.A.Chargers Shield logo because the 1960 Oakland born Raiders Pirate logo didn’t have the Shield logo on the birth year 1960-1962 until Al Davis joined the Oakland Raiders on 1963 then coincidentally added the Shield logo to the Pirate logo on 1963.
    Copy cat Shield logo
But the true original L.A. born Shield logo is the
