That’s right when you boil honey it changed poison also it has a lot of side effects if we boiled it so the correction is right. That means everything in CZcams is not right. Sometimes we need to be careful.

Add garlic and/or onion, if you can. The smell keeps people from using them, but some people still use it at dinner, because until morning it gets processed and after brushing your teeth the smell will not linger anymore.

@@CleanandDeliciousDani Also add onion or garlic or onion+garlic as well, after adding honey. I would personally recommend using a blender and warm milk to mix the ingredients, to avoid boiling and to maintain all the nutrients in the drink. If I'm not mistaken, at about 60 C (140 F) degrees, nutrients start being lost, but don't quote me on that.
Many people avoid using onion and garlic until diner because of the smell which lingers in the body for a while even after you brushed your teeth. So by brushing before going to bed and brushing after breakfast (which is without garlic and without onion), they avoid the risk of smelling like onion and/or garlic.

I was having really strong sugar cravings and even considering driving to the grocery store to get some ice cream but then found this little treasure! My initial reaction was "Hmm if only I had all these ingredients" and then it dawned on me that I did (rarely happens when watching food recipes). I've actually made some golden milk before but I always went overboard w/ the roots; this time I decided to follow your recipe and it turned out delicious and it did indeed curve the sugar cravings.

I pray we turn ourselves around and do just that!!! Sorry to ramble on it just weighs on my heart how simple it could be if everyone stopped fighting and started really teaching out and helping and stopping the world domination cra p and living in love and true freedom!! I live in the middle of no where USA and at this time I only have access to powdered tumeric, I can however get fresh ginger. Is it okay to go ahead and use the powdered turmeric and is it okay to have a cup of this in the morning and one in the evening on a daily basis or should I stick with just the one cup? And is it okay to take daily for long periods of time as a preventative and healthy supplement or is it something one should limit to when one is feeling down and out of sorts, achy, puny, weak or allergied up? Also if All one has is the ground cried slices can that be used and will it have same good properties within reason if the spices are fresh as compared to using freshly grated?

It is perfectly ok to use powder form and it is more convient to just add it to milk(of your choice). It depends on the season how much to consume turmeric as it increases heat in body (that is why used during cough and cold).

You should try also adding either garlic or onion. You have to use garlic or onion grated right before you use it, and the onion should not be saved for later use. The onion and/or garlic should be added, just like the honey, once the golden milk has cooled a bit, because otherwise their benefic properties will be lost. A few garlic pieces taken off the garlic bundle and grated or slicen or diced should do. Same for onion. I would recommend adding the fresh ingredients in a blender, and turning them into a paste with a part of the milk, and have the milk+onion or milk+garlic or milk+onion+garlic mix added right after the honey is added.

Ann Re, I think you are doing really complete and best way.I read somewhere that you should not heat up honey. You can add in warm drink lateron.Very good video though.Bharat Naik

Can soymilk work also? Or normal evaporated milk?

@monisolaadedayo1015 if you like the taste of whichever milk you use, it should work. Some milks might mix better with the flavor and texture, it's worth trying

Would turmeric powder also work? Does it have the same properties as fresh? I just discovered your videos...so great! Cheers.

We Indians call it “haldi vala dudh”, and when our grand maa used to give us when we were kids, we used to make faces because we never used to like but now i love it.

I put a tablespoon of ginger honey crystals in mine too. Yummy. Can I use a touch of olive oil or should I just get some coconut oil?
