Waterloo is well known in Silicon Valley and has been recognized as the 4th largest feeder school to Facebook. If you want a job after graduation, Waterloo should be your top choice. Highest salary for a software co-op at Waterloo is around $50,000 USD for the semester (living expenses subsidized as bonus to this) or $84 USD per hour. Make sure which ever program you are selecting for u of waterloo, it has co-op. For growth and learning, it is excellent university. Fees is on higer end. Engineering 5 is not connected to Engineering 7 and both are separate buildings on the University of Waterloo campus and Engineering 7 is the newest Engineering building on there University campus, and E7 was open in 2017 or 2018 year.
Bhai it's abosolutely false that the location of Waterloo, kitchener, is not preferred by students. It is the start-up hub of Canada. Many companies like blackberry are based in Kitchener. For STEM students Waterloo degree is a gem.

Just wanted to add that UofT CS is also a 5-year program. Also for domestic CS students, you can probably recover more than 50% of your total costs. I calculated my total costs after 5 years to be $110,000 and total earnings can be anywhere from $100,000 to $120,000. So if you have anything saved up previously you may even be able to come out debt-free,

Universities are open 24/7. After midnight some universities may close their libraries but the buildings itself are open and accessible.
Night also starts at 4:45pm right now in Waterloo, plus its exam season. Video was probably shot between 6-9pm.
