Back in the 70's when I was in High school auto shop, I bought a 1960 Ford Sunliner (Galaxie) convertible from the auto wrecker. It had a 352 2barrel. I wanted a 4 barrel and bought an adapter something like you have. I paid around $30.00 for a rebuilt Autolite 4100 and mounted it all. I really couldn't tell any difference. I ended up changing that heavy cast iron intake manifold out for a 4 barrel manifold. It made a big difference! I'm glad you got improved performance. Thanks for the upload!
I have yet to see any decently positive dyno results when a "big hole to little hole" adapter is used to bolt on a bigger carb. Changing to the proper intake (or in the case of an engine with a non-removable intake i.e., a Ford 200, having it machined to accept a bigger carb) always makes a huge difference.
She sounds so much better at the end than she did at the beginning.

Im glad you enjoyed the video. Those FE motors can really pull a galaxie when you feed them enough fuel. Cheers!

Double throttle springs are a must, but if you insists, keep you hand near the ignition key.
I agree, but the weber has a built in spring so the one I installed technically is a secondary spring. Thanks for checking. Cheers!
Is that adapter just a poorly cast piece of junk?
basically
